Neko and Kelly are on WXRT now - just started. http://betaplayer.radio.com/player/93xrt well that was quick - they're done.

I love these videos - they kinda crack me up, that people take the time to do it.. Not a big fan when they put disks in the actual book and not in slip cases - nice looking set, though. Definitely would love to have it. (I love looking at tape boxes, too.)

Thanks, Hixter - good to know.

Not trying to start anything at all here, ---- but are you allowed to bring a gun into a drinking establish in Texas. I have some of the below in my fridge, which I look forward to: Revolution Brewing (Chicago).

I had it in my hands at a Best Buy ---- very sturdy, very tempting --- but at the end, placed it back. Got the funds, go for it - I always say - I am sure you won't be disappointed.

It was too steep for me, too - just got the 2 disk version - it is excellent. Read great things about the deluxe, though. Version of HWY 61 and I'll be Your Baby Tonight from the Ilse of Wight are on the 2 disc version --- they sound better then the Wight tunes that were on original Self Portrait CD and much, much better then the boot that I have. I am hoping that they release the whole Wight show separately at some point.

I agree about Hunter's live performance - not my cup of tea - though it was great being in the same room him. Caught him a few times (Terrapin Station and once he opened up with Phil, I believe). His rendition of Mountains of the Moon was cool to hear, though. I guess he is doing some shows again in the Northeast later on this year. It is great that he still writing with various people, though he recent writings with Dylan haven't been either of their best stuff. Also I wish he would blog again - his writings were always cool to read

That's a nice shot. The closest I have ever been to the stage at a Dead show was about 30-40 rows back, and that was in a shed.

I don't know how to do that multi-tab stuff, so. 1. I should have wrote blocking legislation - which is fine, that's what many representatives are elected to do --- which is why Clinton is trying to organize people to get those representatives out, by encouraging people to vote. 2. I see gun violence as gun violence - I don't think skin cares whether it comes from a hunting rifle or an assault weapon. Politicians are going after assault weapons, mostly because of polling and there use in high profile shootings. I see it as them trying to stop further killings, rather than them taking a

Regarding Jerry's voice, I imagine drugs and weight gain had more to due with the change of his singing voice, than aging. I read about him practicing his guitar all the time, but I haven't read much about how he kept his voice in shape. Some nights were better then others, for sure.

Would it be safe to say that the Republican party supports the gutted Voting Rights Act and the introduction of additional factors/hardships that makes it harder to cast a ballot., while they try to push legislation through to make it easier to obtain any gun of choice. So in essence if the Republican party ran the whole show the below statement would be even more correct. Sure Clinton is using the stage as a platform, but to me Clinton is urging the audience to vote, to ensure that the statement doesn't fully reach it's potential, And of course, in certain areas - some Republicans are tryin

Listened to it last night - It's a good one. Definitely glad that it was released - I always enjoyed this period. Bromberg sure has some great licks.

I do this quite often, too. Yesterday I listened to a decent show from Seattle Center Coliseum on 1983-08-27 - I must admit I always enjoy Little Red Rooster as a song, but not Brent's bit about the hen house and such - it's all a bit too much. Today it's the below - Howard Wales sits in and no Weir and Pigpen.

Just listened to that one over the weekend, again --- came out in 1989. She must have done some stuff since, correct? -
Watched Moonrise Kingdom a couple of nights ago - his performance wasn't anything to write home about - the movie overall was flat and dull. Also watched Groundhog Day over the weekend - still great. My sister-in-law was watching it with me and she said didn't like Bill Murray - I shunned her the rest of the weekend.

At times I think IRDB and Hixter are the same poster - which is fine and kinda of cool if you had the time to post the views of what each talking box wants. Perhaps they are both VC's mods creations to stimulate conversation. It's tiresome, though - especially in this thread. Anyway still watching Heartworn Highways and man there is a lot of guns (and whiskey) in the flick and it's fuckin great - so guns can't be that bad, I guess.. The President had a nice speech today - hopefully this whole college thing can be figured out - It's been 16 years since i left school -my parents bared the

Movie is great - the extras are the best. My library system had this - god love em. Steve Earle's performances are really great - it's great to have this early footage. Also John Hiatt.

I don't think Jesse is going to flip. Jesse doesn't like Hank very much - also I seem to remember Saul getting a restraining order against Hank for Jesse, perhaps it has expired or I am wrong about that or perhaps it was just a threat. Can't see Jesse saying anything to the police - he hasn't in the past. I think Todd and the crew he is part of will go after Walt and his family, too. Mean bunch. The whole cover your eyes bit was great, especially the "fire in the hole" directly followed by "sorry about that". Skyler's holding her own pretty well, too.

Good for Ryno - should be interesting when he brings his team to Wrigley in a couple of weeks.
-
Never seen the below before - 7/4/89 - Los Lobos with Bob and Jerry singing This Land is your Land. I don't think I ever heard Garcia sing a Woody song before, I must be wrong about that, though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1kv1PVb_Oc

KevinG, do you doubt that he ever had cancer or that it's coming back?

Finally caught up to the series and look forward to watching the end of the series, via Amazon instant. The full head of hair, might just mean that Walt stopped taking treatment. The garage scene was indeed great. Hank was perfect.

I thought we are supposed to ask you the questions? Anyway, indifferent - (just like the politician's want it). I did watch Argo for the first time a couple of nights ago - it was good. Hopefully our government is doing great things that no one knows about.

I thought the Big River in the first set was pretty smokin'.

Same here, 68 would be great. 67 would be nice, too. After one listen, the latest 78 release is okay. Need to listen to the 2nd set again.
