Like the Vol One, bit. Hopefully Dylan has another 4 -8 albums in him, then he can release Vol Two.

I think the above shows is where the Wolf guitar is played at a show or two --- does suck that there is now CD release.

"A lot of it just went by in a blur" Wonder why.

Exactly my thoughts, too.

Lammycat - did you catch the Furthur show with Branford Marsalis?
-
^^ There you go - perfect.

Listened to the broadcast of Mellencamp, Seeger, and Young (fell asleep before Willie came on) ---- pretty good stuff. Great pic's, too. Neil was his usual Farm Aid crank-crank - he did some nice covers, though. I always been a fan of Mellencamp, his voice is getting rougher and rougher - I am guessing from smoking. I did like his slightly different arrangements of his tunes. It probably would have been cool to watch Seeger perform, but just listening to him was a bit rough - but he was born in 1919, so huge kudos for him for being up there and putting up the good fight.

Some nice, well deserved news - from http://www.dead.net/features/americana-music-association/robert-hunter-honored-lifetime-achievement-award Read that he performed Ripple, solo, at the ceremony, too.

Do you guys have the Blu-ray or DVD?
-
I probably would get A Ghost is Born and Summerteeth, if they decide to release those. I have a couple of HD releases, Phish's Junta and Allman Brothers - Brothers and Sisters Anniversary box - both sound excellent.

Thanks - I still need to get around to get the set. Kinda wish that there was a CD only release, but it will be good to see the movie again, I guess.

just changed to this show (downloaded from bt-eeree) so far so good ---- 1st set. I am still always amazed at a new tape in circulation ---77....

Was it a new essay by Dwork or was it the same one in his Taper's book. The one in the Taper's book is pretty good and rather extensive.

Speaking of Furthur - their 9/24/13 (Tuesday) show will stream live on XM/Sirius. Only caught Furthur once, that was last year in Chicago - it was fun. I wouldn't mind seeing a Ratdog show in a small theater someday again.

http://www.relix.com/articles/detail/robert_hunter_knocking_on_heavens_door A nice Hunter interview -- I didn't realize he was sick last year. He looks good - hopefully his tour is a success.

I forgot about Farm Aid, that maybe his largest --- he played a LouFest solo, it pretty packed for that, too. Anybody know what his largest solo show was - audience wise?
-
I'd imagine that was the largest crowd that Tweedy played in front of - solo, correct? I have this show on my hard drive, but never gotten around to listen to it.
-
Well that was fun - enjoyed the Bee Gees disclaimer.

One of the Nazi's did.

Speaking of Mickey, below a nice piece on his and his studio's activity from 1971-76 http://hooterollin.blogspot.com/2012/08/album-projects-recorded-at-mickey-harts.html Also in the comments section someone posted pictures of Bob's ACE studio --- some of which were taken during the Blues for Allah sessions, I never seen those before. http://barncard.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=446

I used the term different - creepy works too. Definitely need to get the record.

It's Mickey B-Day, today. On XM, for this day in GD's history, they played the below off of Rolling Thunder ---- never gotten around to get any Micky stuff - enjoy all the tunes played, definitely different. Liked the horns, but the sound of the horns was a bit off (needs to be remastered, perhaps). "The Main Ten (Playing in the Band)" (Hart, Weir, Hunter) – 7:04 "Fletcher Carnaby" (Hart, Hunter) – 4:14 "Blind John" (Stetson, Monk) – 3:48 "Young Man" (Hart, Monk) – 2:41 "Deep, Wide, and Frequent" (Hart) – 5:33 "Pump Song" (Weir, Hart, Hunter) – 4:42 "
