Listening to 12/30/78 tonight -- very nice show. It's kinda interesting that this show is in LA and not at the Winterland --- looks like Tom Petty got the 2nd to last show at Winterland on 12/30/78.

I remember reading at the time of the Winterland release, if they made video better - the audio would have suffered, at least that's what they were saying when people started to complain about the video feed.

I guess I need to listen to a Replacement record, so I can have some skin in the game. I think my wife has Don't Tell a Soul on cassette, in the 17 years that I have come across it our collection, I never bothered to listen to it. It seems that WXRT talks about their last show on a monthly basis - we get it - they "just walked off the stage".

I was in college when Twin Peaks came out - watch many episodes in an altered state - will be good to watch it again.

I read that they are putting out Northern Exposure sometime next year on BluRay --- I look forward to watching it again via Netflix, especially since my wife never watched it the first go around. Not sure if they are going to have the same issue with the original music. Did a quick search, now I don't find news of this happening - must be confusing it with something else - but I swear I just talked about this with the wife last week - strange.
