I think it is Jonathan Parker.

Andrews automatically asked the question "who was talking about you...?." with a great expression on her face ---- great piece of tv --- of course in her ear piece somebody probably said cut ...so she did. My pick: Denver 31 - Seattle 24
-
I'm looking forward to the Chicago Ratdog show --- I think the lineup looks great - the two bass players with Kimock. Regarding the Dead/Dylan release - It was my introduction to Desire (Joey), so for that I enjoyed the cd - their version of Joey, together, was good.
-
Erin Andrews did a good job with the situation, though - her reaction was great.

12/68 it was filmed -- okay version and movie, never gotten around getting the DVD, just have it on VHS. The whole One + One was a mess - but the footage in the studio recording Beggars was cool. -
I do have that one, just not the Bay Area 1978 discs and the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium, February 28, 1986 show, which i am not too bummed about not having, anyway. Both happen to be the last in the series, too. I remember buying the Warner 1978 show and thinking I would buy the other 78 show in month or two (trying to be responsible and budget these things - stupid me) and it went out of print shortly there after.

Same boat ----- I'll give Atticus that the Janes version is better than any Stones version since 1975. -
Only recently did I the hear about Billy Joel / Phish mini feud (over MSG New Year Eve's bookings) -- The Stranger, 52nd Street, and Glass Houses were played a lot in my house growing up in the late 70s - lot's of good tunes. My sister still catches his shows when he passing through Minneapolis.

The newly revamped Jerry Garcia site is pretty cool --- now I hope they get some of Pure Jerry cds that I don't have back in print, specifically the Jerry Garcia Band: Bay Area 1978 release.

BBN was released on Roadcase 009 / September 16, 2012 / Columbia, MO (WILR09), though - at least it's on the track list. One Wing is on it, too. (after doing a search - BBN and One Wing are the only WTA songs released on a Road Case.) http://wilco.kungfustore.com/category/491-roadcase/product/3856-roadcase-009-september-16-2012-columbia-mo-wilr09

Will do - I have copies of both on request from my library system - the other two I heard are Near Truths and The Devil you Know - they both are okay, but his first one is real good.
-
I think the Go to Heaven cover was supposed to be a joke --- I think it's funny. Though I agree Kelly/Mouse and Rick Griffin covers are much better.
-
Last time this happen it was due to technical issues (linclink emailed Wilco HQ about a previous show omission ). "Bull Black Nova", at least, was on a previous Roadcase - not sure about the others. Still think they should mention the omissions on the Roadcase page, but whatever.

That is pretty funny - the newscasters handled it well.

Neil Young's Landing on Water is a decent album, including Jordan's drumming. -
Just recently started to delve into Todd Snider's work - his debut "Songs for the Daily Planet" is my favorite of his so far.

I always enjoy reading Andrew Loog Oldham ramblings on the Stones' early records. Dylan's notes on World Gone Wrong springs to my mind, too. Especially the below bit:
-
I picked up the below for about $60 bucks or so a couple of years ago - sounds okay - not the best but I heard much worse. I guess the Barry Diament mastered releases - released in the 80's I think - sound best. I do have a few of the Diament releases - they do sound pretty good. 12 SHM-CD. Japanese Limited Edition Box Set (September '2008)

I never saw them as such, either. Last night, I added my name to three different vines: 1997, 1998 and the 1999 complete Beacon runs.

Just found out this morning that we are having a "hot dog bar" for our kid's b-day party feast --- I am sure kraut will be an option.
-
I always enjoyed the Dylan/Dead version of Joey, too.
-
I listened to a couple of minutes of Rush this afternoon and he was all over Christie. It is a fun listen when he goes after a Republican for about 2 1/2 minutes that I can muster up to listen.
-
Perhaps --- Dylan and the Dead tear through Tangled up in Blue in that the JFK show - perhaps too much.
-
I don't hear Dylan on the JFK' Jack Straw.
