I haven't read it in a long while, but isn't there some info in 'The Wilco Book' on AGIB?

Wouldn't mind hearing about the show -- doesn't look like I will making it up there for the show.

I saw a bit of the Lady Ga Ga set at 2007 Lolla show before she started her world dominance. -
What campgrounds do you typically go to in No. IL, NOJ? ((this is a non-related ash borer question-- I am looking for some nice campgrounds up here) We typically head down to So. IL when we go camping. We did stay at the Miss. Palisades a number of times and Apple River Canyon State Park once.

I am not too, too worked up about, either --- just wondering. Usually I find out before hand if I could bring outside wood --- campground policies seem to vary.
-
Sometimes it does seem to be a money scamming racket to bring more money into their campground ---- but I lost a tree to the borer (the tree was pretty much dead, when we moved in) and my parents neighborhood was pretty much wiped out. My parents' neighborhood is right off a highway and the town attributed the highway (the suckers attached themselves to trucks and spring for it once the drive by, I guess) to the invasion. I guess the developers, back in the early 70s, planted the ash trees, because they are a cheap tree to purchase. I grew up in the neighborhood - it does look pretty pitiful

Do you ever run into camping areas that don't allow outside wood to be brought into the area?

A while back there was a discussion about the Dead downloads (Road Trips, inc.) that could be purchased over at dead.net and whether a .pdf of the liner notes come with the download - just read on the Hoffman board that liner notes do not come with the downloads (which kinda sucks). However below is a link to all the liner notes of Grateful Dead releases. http://www.gdreferencesite.com/albums.html

Yes. Nowadays - lawn is free - for the seating area you need to buy a ticket. I have not been to the Taste since they instituted tickets.

I wonder why the Stones ended up at The Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and not at the more established Fame Studios -- I imagine Sound Studio was cheaper than Fame and perhaps they did not want to deal with Hall. Perhaps they wanted to deal with the musicians that made those Fame records and not the producer or Fame was booked. I wish they would have asked Keith or Mick.

That's exactly what I was thinking as I was going down the list ---- do all festivals have a 'non-compete clause' in their contracts, like Lallapalooza (bands can't play a month or so before or after the respected festival in the city/area). This policy definitely hurts the Chicagoland clubs every summer.

I think it was Uecker who said the ball "roll over there like a napkin" (great line) http://m.mlb.com/video/v32182671/must-c-cover-maldonado-knocks-the-cover-off-the-ball

3rd it --- the 73 set is a good one. you will also get the below at least for the $100 - they also may be still shipping the Cincinnati Gardens, 12/4/73 bonus disc, which is pretty good, too.

I guess I never realized that these events are in (what appears in the Kiss clip) large arenas, now --- now I know what Oldham was talking about.
-
Yes they do --- I am in my early 40's - but still prefer cds -- though I have been purchasing some HD downloads--- actually I bought the ABB Brothers and Sisters box set download version - it does sound good and it was much cheaper. I have never purchased a GD download, though.

I got Enlightened Rogues from my library system a month or so ago -- nothing special and I didn't bother to rip it.
