Think we are gonna head to this on Sunday and catch the show, since this may be the closet place to the southern burbs as there going to get. If you see guy in a yellow shirt with two kids and wife walking around that will me. Being mostly a vegetarian, looking forward to the food offerings. Haven't been to Naperville in ages.

I think Winston was being a bit sarcastic. Anyway from today CNN Ticker. It will really ramp up again when Clinton declares. http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/06/politics/benghazi-select-committee/index.html

It looks like Garcia has beard in that picture above. I guess some of the show was released on Dick's Pick 31

Last night, I listened to the latest Dave's Pick - good stuff, of course. After first listen, the highlights for me: Cumberland Blues; Jerry plays great on Me and My Uncle and Big River - great licks; enjoyed the Casey Jones, too. Need to listened to the He's Gone through Brokedown Palace again - it was getting late in the evening. Haven't listened to the filler yet.

I think Duane just happen to spot one of his dealers walking down the street, so he hurried up and ran up to him and ran back for the photo - hence the laughter on Gregg and the "cat just ate the pet mouse" look on Duane.

I am the opposite - still waiting on my ABB set. I ordered Blu-Ray and they mistakenly sent CD's. The CDs showed up last Thursday - I almost "mistakenly" opened it, just so I could listen to the set over the weekend - but opted out.
-
Got mine today - won't be to be able to listened to though until later in the week.
-
Couple of small issues for me during the 1st set, too - but nothing too bad. Thought the bits between sets were pretty funny --- ending a show early because they came up with a cool Tweet was pretty funny. I never purchased a Phish (or any band) webcast/stream before --- definitely will need to look into that in the future.
-
Missed parts of the middle of the 1st set - due to putting one of the kids to bed -- would of like to see/hear the Fast Enough for You, always enjoy that tune. Bathtub gin was a stand out --- fell asleep before the Fluffhead - that would been nice to see, too. All in all - it was great night of music. It all sounded and looked great on my system.

Hey it's Sparky. Nice shots. -
Well that was good.

Was AJ Pierzynski that much of 'clubhouse cancer' or was that blown out of proportion? Did Lackey get along with AJ - hopefully they did, looks like he will be catching Lackey again.
-
I agree about Cutler's book - it was a good read.

Speaking of current day Phish - free webcast this Sunday. This should be fun. http://phish.com/news/free-alpharetta-phish-webcast-this-sunday-at-livephish-com/

Crow - seems like you were right to "panic" about the Rangers in the beginning of this year.
-
Phish fans have always been like that it seems (even going back to the early 90s) -- very over- the-top opinionated --- at least from my experience and perspective. Back in the 90's they always had the Dead to compare them to -- which always got annoying. Since last year, I have been enjoying listening to Phish again --- after taking about 15 years off.

Regarding Snider --- he first record is still my favorite of his. Listened to a Chicago, Park West Hard Working American show, (off the archive https://archive.org/details/hwa2014-02-22.mtx.teamdrink.flac16) - it is a fun listen --- it is nice to hear them sing a Bottle Rocket song and the way he sings Gillian Welch's Wrecking Ball is great. Regarding his story telling - noticed that the below is up on Dime - it is a five disc set. (That Moondawg story is a good one)

I though Phil's book wasn't all that great. Blair Jackson's Garcia was pretty good -Dennis McNally's was just okay, too. My favorite Dead related books is the Gear Book and the three Deadhead's Taping Compendiums. Miles' autobiography was very entertaining and I do find myself going back to Dylan autobiography quite often - I think the part when he writes about the making of Oh Mercy is my favorite part.
-
Last week or so I finished Todd Snider's "I Never Met a Story I Didn't Like" --- funny as hell. I not all that familiar with his music - but the book kept my interest --- quick read, too.

Meaning that you don't do anything - like me? I have been seeing the same doctor for the last 15 years or so ---- I see him about every 1 1/2 to two years for a check up/physical and he always likes to play -- "do you want to know what you weighed when I first started to see you" game and rattles off my weight in two year increments and has a good chuckle. (but to my defense, my check ups has always been great - so he hasn't been too concerned) At least I use to play softball during the summers -- this summer I didn't even do that ---- though that means my beer consumption has been down. -
I am on the wait list with my library for I, II, and III remasters.
-
I think I would be more inclined to purchase if there were more live stuff.
-
For some reason the extras on the ones released already and these two, don't appeal to me --- at least enough for me to purchase. Am I missing out?
-
I would say yes. Bootleg 1-3 is probably my favorite Dylan release. It's a must have.
