  1. I found myself in the same position. Incredible pitching performance.
  2. Not sure if I ever read the Dark Star book (Greenfield's) - requested it through my library system.
  3. Wonder if XM will be playing the whole show --- definitely will purchase the soundboard -- or at the very least will sign up for audience Vine --- the set list looks impressive.
  4. Thanks --- I can see why - lot's of repeats. Looking forward to it. http://m.siriusxm.com/servlet/Satellite?childpagename=SXM/Utility/MOB_GetEpisodesInfo&packedargs=pgId=4405&prId=1081151&pagename=SXM/Wrapper
  5. I didn't hear about the Sirius replay --- do you have the info on the channel/day/time? (guess i could check into myself)
  6. According the below Bumgarner could even be available for tonight's game. http://m.mlb.com/news/article/99865360/san-francisco-giants-pitcher-madison-bumgarner-could-be-available-out-of-bullpen The below is incredible.
  7. With regard to the Cream show go ahead send a PM - be happy to get it to you. Hell - me, you, and NoJ can start a Vine. It would be great to hear the event via Soundcloud.
  8. Most certainly. Shoot me a PM, don't worry about blanks, I should be able to find some around the house.
  9. The title suggests that it won't be any different. Of course he does have "Drumming" in it. I have never read any of Mickey Hart's books, but heard great things. I thought Phil's book was boring to. The best part of McNally's book were his 'Interludes' or what ever he called them. Blair Jackson's book on Garcia and his Gear book are probably my favorites, plus Gan's interview books.
  10. How did it go last night -- -wasn't able to make it. Will the talk or performance be available on the web, by chance? And I forgot my apple (and banana) at home this morning.
  11. If there is one (and I think there will be one) - I can see Bumgarner wanting to start Game 7 - not sure if Bochy will allow it, though. Was Jack Morris the last one to start in three World Series games?
  12. Listened to the 1st set of the Fresno 7.19.74 show last night --- good set. Looking forward to the 2nd set. It's been on my hard drive for a awhile, but I don't remember listening to the show before.
  13. I haven't been listening to Cream for while, but over the last month (prior to Bruce's passing) - I have been listening to them quite a bit. Mostly to the below boot. They definitely jammed and Bruce was a hell of a player.
  14. Minkin was on the XM Tales 'show last weekend - sounds like it should be a great book. Talked about how the Dead road crew, who gave him a hard time back in the day at times, are happy that the pictures actual survived and our coming out in a book--- I guess Steve Parish wrote a forward or something for the book.
  15. Bumgarner pitched a hell of of game --- gut check for KC to see how they rebound after their first lost in the playoffs. I always have been a fan of Peavy -- hopefully he goes deep into the game and gets a no decision, with KC coming out on top.
  16. Definitely will try ---- read that Hyde Park Art Center had day listening party earlier this year - but I didn't make it back it up there for the party (I use to live in Hyde Park).
  17. That's the collection I thought of when you posted --- used to run into Malcachi all the time at shows. Sad story.
  18. Was he cranky---I do enjoy listening to him, but he sure can be a dick. One of these days I am going to catch a jazz show at the Symphony Center.
  19. Happen to catch a Orchestra Baobab show at the Hot House back in 2002 or 2003 - that was fun show.
  20. Ecstasy is my favorite Lou Reed release - so I guess it's essential. Great tour behind that record, too.
  21. Night 1 and 5 for me. Still on the fence for Night 3.
  22. I kinda look at the Hall like Keith Richards looks at writing music. Maybe one day they will change the name of the place.
