  1. I have not tried that -- I will definitely will - thanks.
  2. That would be great - my youngest kid loves seeing the two scurry around, but I think a 5 year old is ready to see a cracked neck and a little blood trickily from a mouth (in case I don't get to the trap, before she sees it) Of course, hopefully sunflower butter works - since the stated 5 year old has a peanut allergy.
  3. Yeah it does, even the wife said 'wow', while watching the video.
  4. Yeah - I have tried 'nice' deterrences and such over the last two springs/summers with not much success -- think I am ready for your idea.
  5. Wish a coyote would take care of the two chipmunks that hang out around my house - the burrowing little fuckers. We do have fox that hangs outs in our back yard from time to time, but I guess it is not a chipmunk fan.
  6. OK Tipper - I'll watch an episode first, before I watch it with the kid. (honestly thanks for the parental head's up, though now I have a dumb Judas Priest song in my head)
  7. Need to check out Detectorists -- it sounds like it will be right up my kid's alley - he loves finding crap while we are out walking about. He is a big fan of American Pickers.
  8. Just realized that my intro to Chuck may have been off REO's Nine Lives record with their version of Rock and Roll Music. Production is pretty dreadful, but it's a solid cover. They totally REO-ed it up. Which I think one should do with a cover -- for better or worse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMEquKqOcoc Listening to Chuck's Complete Chess Singles cd, tonight.
  9. Enjoy - that sounds like a great bill - let us know how the show was -- if you don't mine.
  10. Jeez, forgot all about Speed Buggy --- a Jay v. Jeff Wacky Race episode would be fun, too
  11. Saw that - probably will be there, too. Never seen them before.
  12. I agree with everything. One my great baseball memories is sitting in the 'Sale Zone' with my kid (his first major league ball game) one night. It was a Scherzer/Sale match up. They both pitched great, but Scherzer pitched a 9 inning/3 hit shutout.
  13. He may be little happy being out of Chicago... I don't think he really cared for the White Sox front office towards the end... The vast majority of the Chicago sport writers have him winning the Cy Young this year.
  14. Cause they want to make money - hence the event at the Barclays Center. I agree though - a live stream would be nice.
  15. Yeah HBO. Eventually, XM will run something, also.
  16. Doesn't look like it - unless you have ticket to the simulcast at the Barclays Center. XM has a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame channel - it would have been kinda of nice to simulcast it on the channel, at least. https://www.rockhall.com/induction-ceremony-simulcast
  17. I can't fault going after Syria, after the chemical warfare episode - I am just gravely scared on who is in charge of running this for the U.S.and quite frankly I still can't believe it. This is what I was most afraid off when he won the election and was worrying that he was going to get us killed. Aslo, I see an anti-David Brooks tweet in the near future... https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/07/opinion/the-coming-incompetence-crisis.html a few nuggets:
  18. Yeah - that one was funny. We stayed in Telluride for a few days about 8 years ago. Had a couple of drinks at a bar where they had photos of the show on the wall. Plus, the hotel we stayed at a huge photo in the lobby. A few of the patrons at the bar where living in the town when they played there - great stories. Sounds like it would have been a great time.
  19. Phish rats? never heard of that, either. I do remember patchwork. Never had any, but friends did.
  20. Well we started with Syria - hopefully the administration is able to keep things in check in the aftermath.
  21. Don't get the Donna Phish reference. Cool pants, though, and she does look great.
  22. Think it was Weir that f'd up. They had to restart Truckin, too. Guessing, Garcia stopped it because it was a TV taping. They had stopped tunes and restarted them during actual concerts, too - of course, I forget any examples. Wish they would release this. It did sound great in the theaters.
