  1. Wonder if he hired a new manager - looks like he is with Thirty Tigers. Not sure if has been with them for a while, though or not.
  2. Yeah - that interview had to have been edited down for the web. I haven't seen an actual Billboard mag. in a while. Probably only can get one in LA and maybe NYC. If I remember correctly, aren't they printed in a rather format/style?
  3. Thanks - didn't even notice them when I took a peak at the site, yesterday.
  4. ^ Need to try to spot you in the Boston, Elevation DVD.
  5. I was kinda kidding. It just hit me on the way back from the grocery store that I wouldn't have had to spent the dough on the grub or have this meeting if we had a sane President in office.
  6. Hosting our monthly letter-writing campaign committee tonight at our house. I just spent $65.00 on food and drink. I am wondering if I could write off the grocery bill on my taxes or at least send the bill to Trump regime and they can pay me back.... Hell it's potluck, I should have everyone bring in their receipts and we can mail them all to the White House. Guess our local grocery stores should be happy about the election outcome - we started the group back in December, guess there has been at least one local economic benefit.
  7. I have a few. A few are still seeding on Dime and bt.etree. I can't say I listen to them often - if at all. I was with a friend who taped a Chicago show that they played - Randolph Street Fest - I don't think he ever seeded it, though. It seems like there are a lot of dead ones on bt.etree.
  8. Yeah - if someone uploads a show before the Chicago show - knowing myself - I will probably download it and listen.
  9. No spoilers, dammit -- kidding. For some reason, I am avoiding set-lists until I see them on 4/1.
  10. They (Cline and Kaiser) were on the below, too. Interesting record.
  11. Stones made great 'campy' videos back then -- never took themselves seriously. All the videos they did for Tattoo You were great. Didn't realize that Michael Lindsay-Hogg directed all these videos.
  12. Going into the Trump regime, I though Rand Paul would be one of the few R's who would stand up against this crap - definitely was wrong about that...
  13. But if It wasn't for this board, NoJ would be in still in the dark about Bells being back in Illinois - therefore, it's the most important site on these inter-webs, I'd say.... It is deader than than a doornail, though...even during and after a Chicago WIlco winter residency.
  14. I think the regular price is 16.99, but it always seems to be on sale. The Meijers just opened in my village (I am down south in Flossmoor) about 4 months ago -- they are probably just trying to get everyone hooked and then our local place will jack the price - damn capitalism....
  15. They started to package the Two Hearted in cans - a grocery store near me usually has it for $15 for a 12 pack - which is a decent price.
  16. We get Bells around here, NoJ -- they stopped for a while, but they have been back.
  17. Two Brothers' Northwind Imperial Stout is a decent one. Not of huge fan of their beers, but their stout is solid. Of course there is always Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout - a few weeks ago I enjoyed an Old Rasputin on a nitro line - very smooth and tasty.
  18. A-Man posted the Saturday torrent link in the In A Future Age forum. http://viachicago.org/topic/52263-wilco-02252017/
  19. The wife and I had great time on Saturday. We were up in the balcony - towards the front - from Heavy Metal Drummer onward, everyone was on their feet. For the most part everyone around me was great, though two girls by us sat down the whole show and were on there phone the entire concert - which was fine with me, because they were quiet - it did bug my wife, though - mostly because she couldn't believe they could just sit there the entire night. I was fine with the set list - sound wise was fine - guess it could have been a tad bit louder. Definitely seemed like an older crowd, perhaps th
  20. Last thread we were discussing Garcia backing Weir on guitar/vocals -- usually I always enjoyed Garcia contributions to When I Paint My Masterpiece.
  21. What lake or river did you go fishing at -- 3 bass in 15 minutes is pretty good.
  22. Great interview about the new record in Relix. A lot gear talk, too - which was nice. https://www.relix.com/articles/detail/track_by_track_son_volts_notes_of_blue
