One time me and my sister were trying to smash eachother fingers in a door hinge or something, and my dad didn't want us to get hurt so he smashed our heads together. Hilarious in retrospect, and we never did it again. Also, i was quite a handful as a kid and spankings were seldom used but always a threat.

Yeah, whenever my girlfriends say "no" I pretend its just a ghost too! And when I got out of the car, there was a HOOK in the car door, and the calls had been coming from inside the house!

In cases such as these I try to aim the stream of water at the spider so as to wash it down the drain, and so i don't have to do any smashing myself.
