I don't know if this counts as a road trip, but I took the Empire Builder from Seattle, WA to Chicago, IL and stopped for a week in Glacier National Park. If you like trains at all, thats pretty fun. I also did Chicago to Los Angeles via Route 66 (although half the time we took the interstates near Route 66) and then Los Angeles to Chicago via San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Mount Rushmore.

It's always nice to win the Rose Bowl! And man, the Pac 10 was so terrible this year, going 5-0 in bowl games. If only they had scheduled terrible out of conference games, maybe they could have been good.

I think "The Next Doctor" is my favorite Christmas special so far. An interesting mystery to start off, and it was nice to see the Doctor without a companion playing a different sort of role in the story.

I just think when grossman is on top of his game, he is much better than orton, but he is off enough that orton is indeed the right choice. I just wish they could figure out which days Rex will be good and just play him those days or something.

My dad loves parallels, he uses it every day at work. I boot into Windows only for games, so I want every ounce of performance out of my Macbook Pro, so I use Bootcamp. I hear very good things though.

I think David will do alright, although I don't really see him ever being a household name on this side of the pond. He's definitely got the acting chops, and I'm sure he'll get plenty of roles, just not "leading man" in a big hollywood piece. I hear that he has a bad back injury and had to pull out of Hamlet.

You know, I always was a Rex Grossman fan.

I have heard that story as well, I believe it is true. I think almost all the Doctors will be remembered most for being the Doctor. Troughton was in a few US movies like The Omen and some Harryhausen movie (Sinbad?). Davidson and Baker have had good (british) TV roles since Who, and Eccleston is probably the best off of all Doctors, although Tennant has had some fine roles as well. Meh.

I miss him already. I want someone to do it for like 7 or 8 years so we really get a good run. Seems like everyone gets afraid of being typecast. Oh boo hoo, you have millions of adoring fans. Shut up and sonic screwdriver those cybermen!!!!

Not that I would ever Bittorrent a Dr. Who episode, but I've heard it can be done.
