  1. Catching them for the 1st time in New Orleans Wed. Been a fan since their 1st album but this is their first time to play far enough down here for me to catch them. Can't wait! Looks like an amazing set....
  2. Appreciate all the hard work. Songs sounds great. have a great weekend!
  3. The Bunk....welcome to the club. Everyone's opinions are just those...opinions. You can grab a decent used turntable at any good local Stereo store. I've even seen some nice old rigs at Local shops that fix lawn equiptment...not sure why, probably the simple motors and belts. Anyway, finding old records at used record shops is a blast and part of the hobby. Garage sales are great for both old turntables and records. I've been a pretty avid collector for the past 10 years, and with the popularity of Dj's etc...more and more records are being pressed on quality vinyl. Almost every new r
  4. Sorry about the size of that pic folks. It was Skydog Allman and I do think it was a Holiday Inn room. Jim marshal said it was one of his favorite pictures. Marshal's site

  9. This is what does it for me. Very lucky way down here in Baton Rouge to have a really great indie Store, the Compact Disc Shop. Great guys in there and always good conversation. Very common (i.e. golden Smog) for me to walk in and ask "hey wasn't this released on vinyl" and have them hand me the one they set aside for me behind the counter. As far as selection, everything I have been looking for lately was released on vinyl...Golden Smog (they had a ton of the posters), Band of Horses, MMJ, etc. And, of course, I think they sound better when I want to sit at home and listen to music.
  10. New Orleans...its a monday but atleast there coming through
  11. Could some one tell me how to get the cover and tray art to print out the correct size. I suck at photoshop! Is there a program that does this?
  12. I'm paid in full...will get to it tomorrow. Thanks!
  13. I've always been a fan of Bruces, but seeing this performance live definitely endeared him on another level. Arena question is a lttle hard to answer. The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival (Jazz fest) is a 7 day festival located at the NOLA Downs Fairgrounds. There are 10 Stages, and Bruce played on the main stage. Its an outdoor festival but the sound is amazing. Here's a good article from the NY times. I've got a couple of pics already downloaded but can't figure out how to paste them here. Just on my computer, no url? Critic's Notebook At Jazzfest in New Orleans, the Pa
