This tab was originally for "Forget the Flowers" but I've decided to broaden it. Does anyone have any Wilco banjo tabs. Forget the Flowers, What's The World Got In Store, any Uncle Tupelo, etc etc!! I'd really appreciate it. The difficult thing about learning a new instrument like this (I already play guitar) is the lack of music that I'm familiar with to play on it.

No Vancouver date? Edmonton and Calgary but no Vancouver? Lame! I mean fuck, they're playing Halifax but not Vancouver?!
-
Oooh man, here's hoping for a Vancouver date.

Hey jhc, what happened with that Jesus etc lap steel tab you were going to post a few months back??

Bob Dylan's Beard

Ehh you have Em there, I think its E major.

Anyone have the banjo tab for this? (for the record version of course)

I voted for your picture. Lots of pictures with babies...!

I didn't know they used the Micro Modular, I thought it was just the Nord Lead 2x.
-
Also, if anyone cares, the slide line from The Ruling Class works well on lap steel.
-
Does anyone think a mod could edit the original post and put everything in the "code" tags so all the lines line up equally?

I could probably convert it to open G! The Artisans are suppose to be nice, for their price, and now they have legs, which is cool, I might buy me one to keep in an alternate tuning. I have the Fender FS-52 (the white version). It sounds just as good as it looks, it's probably around 350 US. (grr! I swear I posted this last night!)

Well if it's in open G then it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out his songs. I'm trying to get the KCRW "When Roses Bloom Again" but my ears aren't too good. It's nice to see there's more steelist on these boards.

Does anyone have any lap steel tabs for any Wilco tunes? I've asked before but only for specific songs, and never with any luck. I'd love to be able to play the Kicking Television version of "Jesus etc" or the KCRW rendition of "When The Roses Bloom Again". Or any Wilco tune for 6 string lap.

Maybe whoever got this from Hodie can scan it and post it for us?

No but I've been thinking about getting one to use for steel guitar. How much did it set you back? I haven't been able to find prices on them.

Good topic! We should add pictures. I'm not one for effects besides my e-bow, mostly because I don't have the money, eventually I'll get a Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer pedal, Electro Hammix Muff pedal, and a wah pedal of some kind. Here's my stuff though: Epiphone Les Paul Studio Fender FS-52 Lap Steel Seagul ST-12 Acoustic 12 string Yamaha F-310 Acoustic Some sort of Ibanez bass Some sort of Fender banjo (don't know the type!) Delta DG-60 amp (needs to be replaced with a Vox or something) Fender Rumble 100 Watt bass amp Boss MT-2 Metal Zone (it was my brothers though she stopped playing s

Apologies for bringing up this old topic! I was just watching the KCRW performance of this song and I really love Nel's lap steel parts in this song, does anyone know what he plays on them? (Sorry, I've never heard the Chelsea Walls version, I don't know if there's lap steel in that).

Does anyone have the slide parts from the demos (and in the movie) tabbed out?
