  1. I don't understand why Reprise only thought "Can't Stand It" was the only song worthy of being a single, ELT and Nothingsevergoing... are worthy singles (and moving too YHF so is HMD).
  2. Why don't you spend the 20 dollars and buy it? It's worth it.

    Blackeye

Are you the guy who yelled it that?! Oh man, imagine if Jeff had played "Black Eye" after that. Awesomeawesomeawesome.
  4. I really like the studio version of ELT, they synth sounds great, it's just a really rockin, summer, song. I don't think it translates well on the solo versions, not like some of the folkier Wilco songs. I like the production, I think it's a great example of how protools can be fucking GLORIOUS. I think if The Beatles were around these days, they'd be experimenting in a way a lot like Summerteeth. That's my 2 cents.
  5. It's 2006, why are we even talking about Duran Duran? The single handedly ruined the 80s, let's not let them ruin this decade (more).
  6. It still says for me that it will be posted "soon"! What is this!!! I need these on my mp3 player tomorrow to get me through the day!!!
  7. I'd like to see someone from that band make an album without protools.
  8. Anyone else think this is incredibly awesome?
  9. Well, for guitar G is the best key, it is open and easy to play in and easy to sing in. On piano I prefer C though (duh). I like the augmented and diminshed chords the best.
  10. Oh man, I totally missed FTP sites. This collection is great. There's sooo much.
  11. Seeing Spencer argue with his band mate about the poster deffinetly reminded me of watching Jeff argue with Jay about the intro of "Heavy Metal Drummer". A chip off the old block indeed!
  12. Just to get another opinion here, I didn't really like it. I thought the song writing wasn't too great. However the song "Rise Up With Fists" is extremely good.
  13. Is that a moogfooger?!?! I think it is!
  14. What's with the hate? I Am Trying To Break Your Heart is a great, honest, look at the music industry. It has a great story line too it (Sam Jones got incredibly lucky), it's shot beautifuly, the performaces are great, and, atleast, I think it's really interesting watching Wilco work in the studio.
  15. Mermaid Avenue III with the current line up.
  16. Uh no. Find some nice folk songs. Iron & Wine has some really easy fingerpicking.
  17. New Madrid Acuff-Rose Gun If That's Alright The Long Cut No Sense In Lovin'
  18. I'm probably one of the only people in the world that considers Sharp a better songwriter then Cuomo. But anyways, Seven More Minutes is epic. It's a celebration. Matt really emerged as a songwriter on it. It's so diverse. I love how there can be songs as different as "Big Daddy C" and "She Says It's Alright" on the same album but it still feels like one piece of artwork. I could probably talk all day about why "Overlee" and "My Head Is In The Sun" are masterpieces. As for his solo album... it really pisses me off that no one was really into it. I don't think people gave it enough attention, t
