  1. Wasn't Charlie Louvin's new album already out for like a week?
  2. A couple reasons: 1) Bryan Adams owns the best studio in town here, The Warehouse. He's done a lot for the recording industry in Vancouver, music aside, I have nothing but the utmost respect for him. 2) Bryan Adams doesn't pretend to be a hipster and gets people like the pitchfork staff to worship him and his boring, boring songs. He is what he is and doesn't try to be anything else. However, waking up the "The Summer of 69" on the radio this morning kind of started my day off on the wrong foot. Haha, you made me laugh out loud, my friend!
  3. Totally! Who will play Billy Bragg?
  4. I always thought indie snobs were the people that loved this band. I'm ashamed they are from Canada You guys got Bush, we got Win.
  5. How the fuck did "Dreamgirls" win anything? That was hands down the worst movie since "The Day After Tomorrow".
  6. Look in the liner notes of Being There, it gives that guy credit, I was just making a point that there is no album in which Tweedy wrote 100%. And I'm glad that guy's gone.
  7. Ox! Good band, good band. I have nothing but respect for them.
  8. Gah, why do bands always go to Seattle but not Vancouver? Forget you, Gibbard!
  9. I've always been kind of iffy about The Arcade Fire and then I started watching their performance and I was like "yeah they're pretty good". Then he went and smashed that guitar and yeah..... However, Rainn Wilson = hillarious!
  10. No, everything is disc. Just like your precious frisbee is a disc.
  11. Did anyone see them on SNL last night? The singer smashed his guitar
  12. "all songs written by Jeff Tweedy ...except Misunderstood....."
  13. You are a lucky man for getting to see that... All I know is that, Iron & Wine's third album is one of my most anticipated releases of the year.
  14. And she toured with The Postal Service.
  15. One of my instructors at school knows (and I'm assuming has played with) both Nels and Fred Lonberg Holm.
  16. I don't care what all the naysayers say, I saw Sufjan live this October and it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever been a wittiness too.
  17. I am happy! As long as "What Light" and "Impossible Germany" are on the album, I'll be happy.
  18. I can honestly say, Revolver changed my whole life.
  19. Here's the studio version http://www.sendspace.com/file/df3d4t (Nah I totally lied)
