We all need to come together as a community and pick a real deep cut and request it together. I recommend Chains of Broken Hearts from Mermaid Ave 3.

Kevin Morby and Waxahatchee via Instagram! They've covered Jason Molina (x3) and David Berman. Robin Pecknold just called in. This is the future!

Yeah seems like Calgary is postponed too.

Good news from Canada!

What a show! I was a little nervous for Wilco experts like bbop and theashtraysays coming all the way to Winnipeg (in a less than desirable time of year) for a seated show. In my experience cities that don't get played every album cycle end up with more tepid audiences which I think was at least partly true for this show until the lady in the third row got everyone to stand up. What a legend! Setlist was pretty good, nice to hear Can't Stand It and Passenger Side. There was rumours that someone, who knows who, put in a hundred+ requests for Casino Queen but alas, it was not in the cards. Bant

All March shows after Salt Lake City have been removed from Wilco World: https://wilcoworld.net/shows/

Selfish take: if they're going to cancel the west coast run entirely I hope they just announce it already. I have until Saturday to get 50% back off my AirBnb.

Vince and Sarah and I were going to go to the Saddlery, a pub/restaurant a short walk to the venue, at about 5 tomorrow (I want to get to the venue around doors so I can hit up the merch booth), you're welcome to come!

Nice. I don't think I can make any of those work but that looks great. I would love to see Sleater-Kinney.

Probably for the best that PJ cancelled their tour. I don't think that a lot of the eastern Canadian markets off the top have been hit bad by Corona so far but those would be arena shows with a lot of people traveling for them. Isn't the current assumption that this thing will lessen in the summer months, just like the regular flu does? Warmer temperatures, high humidity, vitamin D, etc boost our immune systems and summer lifestyle helps too. I'd be a little worried about rescheduling things like Coachella to the fall incase it comes back or gets worse.

Yeah sounds good!

Portland Night 2 March 24. Ended up with two extra tickets. Great seats! Section B, row D, seats 1-2. Because I'm an out of towner my tickets are will call only, so we'll meet outside the venue before the show. Asking for what I paid, $180 USD OBO.

Oh no, sorry to hear that Chuck. Hopefully for both your sake and Seattle things will start to get better from here.

His band Foxwarren played SSF this past year, so some Wilco fans might be more aware of that project. His last solo album The Party is also really good but to me Neon Skyline is a more realized record.

I 100% could be wrong, I am definitely not a doctor, or a scientist, or even that smart! I also tend to think worst case scenario in most situations. But lots of bands have cancelled Japan/Korea shows in March and I feel like this thing is going to get worse before it gets better and with Seattle hit the hardest so far in North America, that makes me a little nervous for those gigs. If people are being recommended to work from home I worry events that cram 2000+ people into a theatre for three hours could be next to get cancelled. Maybe Chuck can weigh in and let us know what things are like i

Yeah I saw that too. Looks like it's a Record Store Day "First" so it should get a wider release days/weeks/months later. The Jay Bennett Palace at 4AM record is also getting a RSD release.

So, definitely I might be biased, I think Neon Skyline is the best album of the year so far. But I thought the show was great. He did the new album in order and then the 8 or 9 other songs from his previous albums. The venue was pretty small, probably only around 400 people. The show sold out right away and I think this album has blown up more than people were expecting so I'm surprised they didn't move to a bigger venue. He's from Regina which isn't far from here, so it's definitely cool seeing a kid from the Canadian prairies doing so well and you could tell the audience was excited about th

Yeah I can't imagine the Seattle shows happening now. Hopefully the rest of that run is still ok.

Sorry for the necro-bump but didn't think this was worthy of making its own thread. For those still not over the frustration of trying to track down Warmer last spring, I have good news! The RSD UK listings have leaked and unless something is NA exclusive, or gets added last minute, it appears there will be no Wilco releases this year. After last year, I am happy with this.

From an outsider's perspective, it's pretty amazing the resistance Bernie is getting even in the democratic party. None of his ideas are that radical. I can understand assbackwards republicans not liking him but the amount of democrats openly treating him like he's some kind of radical is particularly strange. I hope he's successful for you guys, you definitely need someone like him.
