If you care about being able to see Bob, third is about as close as you want to get, depending on how high the stage is. If you get too close (first or second row) you won't be able to see him when he's on the piano, which was the case for a lot of people who bought $400 VIP tickets when I saw him a few years ago. Meanwhile I was sitting back in row 4 with one of the best views in the place. All the sound was coming directly from the speakers on each side of the stage so it sounded great.

Yeah that was the reason. However, after she announced the hiatus someone anonymously online accused her and her family of being sex traffickers. I'm by no means a huge SKM fan, but you should check out Benji as well. Last night he was just "singing" and had a guy on piano. He talked about how he just doesn't want to play his old material but seemed very self aware that his new stuff isn't for everyone. This was in Winnipeg which doesn't get a lot of concerts so you would have thought it would be fairly well attended but there was probably only 100-200 people there. My thought was for the 11/24 date to be Minneapolis, since it looks a little too west to be Chicago (someone with better understanding of US geography please correct me). Also of note is that the cities with multiple dates only have one pin viewable with the last date (like 10/26 + 10/27 in Austin, you can only see 10/27 blocking 10/26 from view), so no matter where the 11/24 show is, there could theoretically be an 11/23/22/whatever date behind it as well. Marketing isn't just merch. To me, the best marketed bands are some of the boomer-classic rock acts who, after years and year of effort from their labels/PR/promoters/etc, get pushed into "legendary" status despite maybe only having one or two big albums like Fleetwood Mac.

I am too! I feel like Warm took a long time from the first single till the second. How many Schmilco songs had we heard before they did their first Schmilco tourdate? I know I saw Wilco on Sept 2 and 3rd 2016 before Schmilco came out and that was the first time a lot of those songs had been played live and the first time anyone had heard a lot of them. Maybe they'll pull a Bon Iver and just randomly drop the album on the internet before the physical release date.
