Why do you say the Wild? They're going to lose Gaborik. Apparently he turned down 10 years, 80 mill. Anyways, I'm excited to see the tribute to Luc Bourdon tonight. Apparently it'll be streamed on the Canucks website too, for those interested in watching.

This is what happens when I go a few months without hockey!!

I guess he isn't cool anymore Nah I'm kidding

Apparently I locked the wrong topic, I meant to lock the other one that got bumped up... ooops! Talk about embarrassing.

Being last place in the Eastern Conference would be the best thing to happen to Toronto in a long time. Tavares is going to be a great player. I bet anything though, that Sundin will return in December, join the Leafs and get them a nice 4th draft pick

It's decided! I will soon be rocking NHL09 on XBox 360! Thanks for the help guys. What are some other great games? I had a PS2 for a few months like... 5 years ago, and the only game I ever liked was Grand Theft Auto. I then sold the PS2 and bought a bass guitar amp. I don't want that to happen again. On a side note, when I was in audio school, EA's head quarters were literally like... 5 minutes up the road from my school and we got a tour (EA hires a lot of audio people), and those facilities are absolutely amazing. I wouldn't ever work there, a palotes gym and a full size NBA court does noth

Does XBox Live cost a lot? Sorry I am a complete "n00b" when it comes to this stuff.

Yep. I don't know who else to ask but you dudes and ladies are generally well informed! I've decided, now that I am a workin' man, to get a video game console to replace my good old Nintendo 64. I was thinking Wii, that Zelda game looked real cool, but then I realized I wouldn't be able to play NHL09! I would therefor lose my doctorate in Canuckology. SO! PS3 or XBox 360! Which one should I get? I don't want to buy a console and have XBOX 720 and PS4 come out.

I think the album with Glenn is suppose to be instrumental, yes??! Anyways, horay! I can't wait. I was just listening to Armchair the other day, what a great record.

You guys get to watch those games today in the states? All I have to say is: SCREW YOU, NASLUND!! WHERE WAS THAT LAST YEAR?!
-
Did I ever tell you Chara went to my high school for awhile? Not while I went, but while my older brother and sister went. Pretty cool considering how I live in a smallish town in the middle of nowhere, but I guess you're bound to get some future NHL-stars when you have a WHL team. Man, I really don't want to see Detroit win another cup My Nucks beat the Flames, 6-1 today... without the Sedins even. They remain unbeaten in the pre-season, the only team to be so.

Make sure your husband will fight other dads!

Oh I'm watching a stream on the internet, in Russian!

Could be the Rangers aren't use to playing on ice like that. Maybe they have jet lag? I dunno! All I know is this intermission commentary is INCREDIBLE. I like the idea of playing Swedish Elite and KHL teams, hopefully there will be more of these... I read a report on TSN where the NHL says they want to have a European division within 10 years. Rather see we fix our current teams first but it's certainly an interesting idea. Hey it's Jagr!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up, I am now too. Yay Rangers! Booo Naslund!

GUYS! It's here! Well almost! Pre-season has been good so far, I watched a bit of Detroit @ Montreal last night... Carey Price made a GREAT save. Roberto Luongo was named captain of the Vancouver Canucks yesterday... the first goalie captain in 61 years. I was wondering what you guys thought of that. He can't do some duties, like argue calls with refs, but as far as I'm concerned, he's the face and heart of the franchise. He's the leader. He is to the Canucks as Jerome Iginla is to the Flames, Joe Sakic is to the Avs, and Sidney Crosby is the Penguins... he just happens to play a different po

Ugh... I dislike atheists almost as much as hard core Christians. I don't care if you believe in nothing, keep it to yourself.

I could have done without: Dr. John Neil Diamond Van Morrison Ronnie Hawkins And yes... Joni Mitchell. The rest are all pretty good though!! Wouldn't it be great if Wilco did a concert like this, with all their friends??? Andrew Bird, Scott McCaughey, Jim James.... maybe even.... Billy Bragg!!

The Liberals really piss me off, how they blatantly ignore my riding, and a lot of the times, my province.

To me, The Creek Drank the Cradle will always be the ultimate autumn album. Reminds me of walking my old dog in the forest when I was 17, when the leaves were all golden and red... Good memories. I also think Magnolia Electric Co - What Comes After The Blues would be good in the fall. Maybe, just maybe, Nirvana's Unplugged...... but you didn't hear that from me! I always liked Matt Sharp's Puckett's vs the County Boy EP in the fall, but that might be a bit too slow for a lot of people. Oh maybe some old Will Oldham (Palace) when it was just him and his guitar.... the "You Will Miss Me When I

I like them, but whathisface is singing like he's in an emo band for the past few albums, it'd kind of annoying. But once you get past that, the songs are pretty good.

This is my second election, last time I voted Liberal and immediately regretted it. This time: NDP! Even though I kind of hate the NDP... I kind of hate all them though. I'm more looking forward to municipal elections in November, if I'm going to elect the people that are going to fuck me over, I'd rather elect the ones I can run into at Cosco and call them a giant douche. EDIT: Politically, this riding has been amongst the most right-wing in Canada, electing Progressive Conservative MP Frank Oberle from 1972-1993, and Conservative Jay Hill since that point. One of the reasons for this could

What albums have you heard live in its entirety!

Heard most of Sufjan Steven's Seven Swans live once. It was beautiful. -
I did not vote for this poll. I love AGIB and Loose Fur equally, they're two of my favorite things Jeff Tweedy has done.
