You forgot to add: -Susie gives these recaps (and it's author) a shoutout!!!

A good example of why these companies shouldn't be able to absorb each other into one or two giant monopolies. Facebook should have never been able to buy Instagram.

Yeah it looked a little more high res. From a technical perspective, the show is definitely smoother than it was in the early days, outside of a hiccup here and there, we haven't had any major issues with the streams lately like we did in the March, April, etc.

Yeah this is how it's been for me for weeks. I preferred it before, when you could tap the centre of the screen and get just one or two comments on the bottom or tap it again and get half the screen in comments, that worked for everyone. Truthfully, I'm not bothered by the comments typically unless it's an entire multiple line post of emojis, that's a little distracting.

For the record it was I'm Always In Love.

It was on IG, less than an hour last night so it should be archived there. Maybe Susan will post it to YouTube.

There was an impromptu Tweedy Show tonight. I missed the first 15 minutes or so, I'm assuming since Spencer was at his drums they played something. Sounds like everyone is doing well though, they're still waiting on their test results though. Then Jeff and Spencer did an instrumental Reincarnation followed by an instrumental Waltz #2 by Elliott Smith, which was awesome. Sorry, I'm no u2roolz but this was my best attempt at a recap.

Because it's a special day in America I am NOT going to make a petty comment reminding you all that real Thanksgiving was last month. Happy Thanksgiving you guys!!

Can those with the boxset confirm that the Summerteeth album is the only records on black vinyl? I've heard conflicting reports that the live discs are on black as well. Just curious!

Has anyone received a shipping confirmation yet? My understanding of the timeline: -Monday November 2nd, Kung Fu sends a mass e-mail, saying that orders will go out in the "next week or so". -Friday November 13th, I e-mail Kung Fu asking when my record will ship, I'm told the records arrived "a day or so ago" and will ship "early to mid next week". -Later on Friday November 13th, Kung Fu sends a mass e-mail, saying that they have the records now and look a shipping confirmation "soon". -Friday November 20th, Kung Fu sends another mass e-mail saying orders will move next w

There was some confusion but I think they determined Britt the one who was on one of the news station, there was a screenshot of the video floating around IIRC. But I could be wrong ....it's happened before!

Justin and Joe already have had more productive meetings than Donald and JT did 😂

That is HILARIOUS and thank you for sharing. I still remember watching him on 9/11 going to ground zero and he seemed so... competent, at least to me as a teenager. My theory is he's always been a weirdo (wasn't his first wife his cousin??) But he's either gotten worse at hiding it as he gets older or he feels comfortable being more publicly creepy with Trump in charge.

I'm trying to hold off really digging in on these demos till my LPs arrive, but I did do a few listens of some of the new (to us) songs. I'm not really hearing anything between No Hurry and IATTBYH, though I guess some of the chord changes are similar?? Maybe I'm missing something though. I also noticed the We're Just Friends rehearsal had a lot from Just A Kid, that was a cool surprise. Also: All I Need shares some lyrics (and maybe some music ideas??), with A Shot In The Arm. Well it at least shares the "all I need is a shot in the arm" line. Need to do some more listens on this on

You guys did it!!!

After Magnitized made this thread, I was flirting with the idea of doing It's Just That Simple but I assumed someone else already claimed it. Apparently not! I guess I only have myself to blame. Good work from everyone involved.

Stating the obvious but that was a great hour of music. Thank you Tweedy fam and friends!

Hey folks, I know the album JUST dropped, but if you have thoughts on Love is the King already, we're doing a special podcast tonight that will review the new record and we'd love to work in other fan's initial feelings on the record. Drop us an e-mail at abcwilco@gmail.com or leave us a voice mail at abcwilco.com.

Yes! And had a little bit from Orphan too. Thanks!

Does anyone remember which of the new songs that Jeff has debuted on TTS contains some recycled lyrics? I believe it was lyrics from An Empty Corner or maybe one of the Warm/Warmer songs. IIRC, Jeff and Spencer mentioned it after Jeff finished playing it and I think it was at least mentioned here.

No interesting tidbits in terms of news, but just a lot of talk about the creative process. I haven't read much of the book yet but my impression is a lot of what Jeff was talking about was covered in the book. It was an insightful conversation, it was nice hearing Jeff be that open and be able to talk in a setting like that. Nick was a great interviewer.

Great interview, thank you for sharing Donna. Here's the juiciest bit of news in it: We've recorded maybe one third or one fourth of a record. Everybody in the band has their own recording studio, or at least the ability to do overdubs at home. We’ll probably keep working on that remotely through the winter. Ideally, we’ll have a record come out next year. We're plowing ahead on the next Solid Sound Festival. Odds are it might end up being later in 2021, if it happens at all. We’re keeping our fingers crossed. So maybe a fall 2021 SSF?? Crowd will probably be small

Dammit I hate when I'm right all the time. Live at the Troubadour was limited to 5000 world wide, this is 2500 but I assume that's just North America, maybe UK/Euro will bring it up to 5000 worldwide?? I hope so, because Troubadour seemed to be hard to find after RSD.
