  9. >but I'm always afraid of overintellectualizing something I love. don't be. the art is subjective, as a few others above put so well. -justin
  10. i love this kinda pretentious stuff...love it! thanks for the link...i was surfing my morning websites, but hadn't gotten to PopMatters yet. suffice it to say, it is one of my favs. -justin
  11. i've not been there, but here's the web site: http://www.infuzionlounge.com/ -justin
  12. >sidewalk or avalon or (my personal fav) accapella used to go to Avalon quite a bit, but then i found the Commerical Taphouse. now that i live downtown, i usually do Europe or Capital Alehouse. haven't been to A Capella though...where is that at? also, have you heard about this new bar in the Fan that's made entirely of ice and they give you a parka when you go in? crazy! -justin
  13. The National show is only a few blocks from my apartment, so i won't need overnight accomodations. the RH show is a couple of hours away, but i have plenty of practice driving under the influence. thank you for your concern though. -justin
  14. hey man! i'd like to meet up with you sometime that's not in the bathroom line! i'm saving money for a trip to Asia in September/October, so I'm only trying to see a few choice shows and since I've seen Wilco 3 times already, i'm trying to catch a few acts i haven't seen. i will be at Iron & Wine/Califone at The National in March and will try to get tickets for Radiohead in May. you said you were in the 804 now correct? -justin
  15. >I knew that's what you figured, from what you first posted. It really didn't need to be repeated. i'd desperately hate to be redundant. i'd desperately hate to be redundant. -justin
  16. i don't think he's an idiot. i guess you don't get/like jokes. -justin
  17. >I'd rather see Wilco without Bragg, doing the MA songs. exactly my sentiment! -justin
  18. ah yes, i forgot about Owl & Bear. Lossless too, thank the Lord! -justin
  19. damn, you guys are uptight. i'll share - drop me an e-mail or PM. -justin
  20. i agree, i see an RH influence on YHF. in addition to the natural rhythm and melodiousness of a song, RH had started to use little ambient sound touches to push the song forward, always perfectly placed, however odd they seemed. same deal with YHF. -justin
