  1. well, them not being from Minnesota might be the clincher, but they did play together on an official release: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bootleg_S...Hall%22_Concert -justin
  2. thanks for the clarification Cryptique...i got a little bit overexcited. but still...he listed Prince and the Revolution...why not Bob Dylan & The Band/Bob Dylan & The Hawks (1966)...the best rock and roll band to have ever graced the face of this planet. -justin
  3. back the fucking train up...he didn't pick BOB FUCKING DYLAN for Minnesota?????? -justin
  4. someone needs to contact John Doe. try doing a people search for a name like that and see how lucky you are! -justin
  5. i think what this calls for is a ranking of the RH albums by whomever wants to do that: 1. In Rainbows 2. Amnesiac 3. Hail To The Thief 4. Kid A 5. OK Computer 6. The Bends 7. Pablo Honey (a.k.a. suckfest) -justin
  6. never knew this existed...does anyone have a file to share? ;-) -justin
  7. i'd rather hear unreleased 70s stuff.... -justin
  8. i prefer later-period RH as well, but as far as The Bends goes, my favorite tracks are probably "Black Star" and "Street Spirit (Fade Out)." -justin
  9. >hmm still waiting for lets fight to get its justice word. -justin
  10. >If I remember correctly, the Residency version of Leave Me (Like You Found Me) was the only time it was ever played. I hope that one gets played again, though, because I thought it sounded great live. yeah - it needs regular rotation in the sets for sure. -justin
  11. well, Larry is right, but it depends. the Anthology is your basic Best Of, mixed in with a few rarities and live tracks. if you are a more album-oriented fellow, i would suggest March 16-20, 1992, which contains your song or Anodyne. -justin
  12. >i might be the only person that feels this way but i can't stand hearing jeff yell "nothing" 30+ times at live shows. it kills me. no, you aren't the only one. i don't really care for that either. >"Take off your band aid 'cause I don't believe in touchdowns." yeah, that's the only line in that song that really gets me too. -justin
  13. >Such a cool song, especially the eerie electonic sounds over the pre-chorus. Those mellotron sounds and the way he sings "honestly." Love that song. -justin
  14. good for you - i don't really care for the Bragg stuff myself. -justin
  15. >So i'm obviously being dumb here..but what infamous crowd shot? it's okay - i don't know either and i'm as smart as all hell. -justin
  16. >What is the point of this? humor. obviously. Did you even read the OP? yes. obviously. -justin
  17. >how is the full length song? >should it have made SBS or was it a wise choice to leave it off? should have been on disc two of the import edition. -justin
  18. i've always wanted to go to Alaska! not that i'll be going just to see Wilco there...but i will go one day... -justin
  19. didn't they put out Jonny Greenwood's score for There Will Be Blood as well? -justin
  20. thank you sir. it's just that i was under the impression that we were to share our own experiences in which Mr. Tweedy has frightened us either inadvertently (nodep5) or flat-out on purpose (myself). -justin
  21. Tweedy once snuck up behind me and blew a foghorn in my ear. i shat my pants. true story. -justin
  22. >Also why would you need the cd copy with bonus disc and a normal copy of the album? simple. you bought the album and then six months later the copy with bonus disc came out overseas. you want to own lossless CD versions of "More Like The Moon," "Panthers," etc., so you buy the import as well. -justin
  23. >When you have multiple copies of each album. also okay if the second copy is the import with the bonus disc. -justin
