  1. don't know really, but the last thing i heard, one of the periods covered in Volume 2 would be 1966. -justin
  2. i really can't stand either version of "Forever Young." i mean, it's kinda cheesy, right? -justin
  3. it's not one of my favorites, but i LOVE "Tough Mama!" -justin
  4. http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/page/forkcas...erator-festival b/c they are a great band and Cease to Begin was one of the best records of 2007. -justin
  5. >Not judging, just wondering, how often do you ever listen to the vast majority of those? hardly ever. right now they are stored at my parents' house, because my fiance and i live in an apartment in the city, so not enough room right now. froggie and i used to trade discs about 5 years ago! -justin
  6. got into them after seeing a lot of hype surrounding It Still Moves on the Dylanpool. never looked back, that is until Evil Urges came out and i had to look back to their older stuff to wash the foul taste out of my mouth. -justin
  7. my Dylan obsession: http://www.angelfire.com/folk/notdarkyet/trade.htm it's a good thing i stopped trading/downloading sometime after college or i wouldn't have any room for anything. that list is mostly up to date, save a handful (20 or so) that i haven't listed. -justin
  8. yeah, but "Sign On The Cross" still goes unreleased... -justin
  9. from what i hear, it is quite lengthy and "Highlands" was already on there. a second answer to your question would be: Dylan oftentimes leaves great material off of his records. :-) -justin
  10. i'd say EU is more like the 4.7 Pfork gave it (maybe a 5 or 6) and the Fleet Foxes is right on the 9.0 they gave that one... -justin
  11. from a huge and long-time MMJ fan: i am disappointed. i tend to agree with the Pitchfork and PopMatters reviews over the glowing ones from other publications. it's syrupy and lazy for the most part. the lyrics are dumb...and honestly, despite what anyone says, i like MMJ's lyrics. at least there used to be an element of mystery to them. "Peanut Butter Pudding Surprise"? please Mr. James, spare me... and the reviews that are calling this their YHF or Kid A??? tracks that i am fond of: "Smokin' From Shootin'," "Touch Me I'm Going To Scream, Part 2," "I'm Amazed," Thank You Too!" songs
  12. A.M. was originally titled Stop-Gap Crappile For Listening To Until We Blow Everyone's Minds With Something Better. -justin
  13. the Australian version is different in that it has the bonus EP with all those songs, so... -justin
  14. hmmm...wonder if the extra will be from the Australian disc? i already own this twice (original and Australian edition)... -justin
  15. "Here Comes Everybody"...wasn't that the title of one of the tracks on the Wilco Book disc...which is sorta from the AGIB sessions? -justin
  16. i'm a big ass fan of what Iron & Wine/Calexico do with "Dark Eyes." it's also great to have an official release of "I'm Not There!" -justin
  17. thinking i'm going to see them on 7/7 in D.C. i've been a fan since January. they are incredible really. -justin
  18. fingers crossed that it could be a new song! -justin
  19. >"Place To Be" by Nick Drake i almost listed this one too. -justin
  20. i'm going to break the song - artist format and do it the way that looks better: Grizzly Bear - While You Wait For The Others [Live On KCRW] My Morning Jacket - Picture Of You My Morning Jacket - War Begun -justin
  21. "Tough Mama" from Planet Waves is incredible, though i still think the album is only so-so. -justin
  22. i've always said that the best tastes are acquired ones: music, coffee, etc. it took me awhile to come around to In The Aeroplane Over The Sea... -justin
  23. jc4prez, what was your pool handle? mine was Justin Brooks. i was on there since almost the beginning...posting a lot. -justin
