This issue with the polar bears is important for the future of environmental legislation. Seriously, I have no clue. Some things hit me right away. Other things take time. Bands I can think of that I liked right away: Wilco, Pink Floyd, Phish, Marvin Gaye, Fleet Foxes I really like Dr. Dog, My Morning Jacket, Bon Iver, the National but not right away.

The Elegant Universe is awesome. Seriously trippy shit. I tried to read the book, but it made my brain hurt. As far as any religious beliefs I have, I like hearing Jospeh Campbell talk about myths. I do find many things in different religions cathartic and transcendent but I just don't have the faith to say one thing is true. I recommend watching Bill Moyers' interview with Joseph Campbell that aired on PBS a long time ago. Talks about everything from the Garden of Eden to Luke Skywalker.

I'm addicted to this show. I don't think it's that great, but they end every episode with a cliffhanger, right in the middle of a scene. It's not fair, but it'll keep me coming back.
