we left the kids home alone for the 1st time a few weeks ago to go to a party next door. I came home for a few minutes to check on them and brought them cookies from the party. An hour or so later my cell phone rings. It's the littlest one (6) in a fake old man voice and he says: "this is obama, bring home 2 chocolate chip cookies and one peanut butter cookie for the children. Again, this is obama". i don't know why he knows what he knows but when i asked him why he likes obama, he told me john mccain is old and likes war.

and i always thought you did. isn't that a strange turn. p.s. that 8 minutes will include travel time.

no early voting allowed here. i still don't think it's ever taken me more than 5 minutes to vote. if the turn out is tremendous here this year, that will probably shoot up to about 8 minutes.

apparently exxon, chevron and bp employees have given obama more than mccain but the oil and gas industry overall has given over 3 times as much to mccain. this link has a neat breakdown by industry if you like campain fund stats.

just changed the air filter. granted, it was the original filter that was 55000 miles old so i had alot of room for improvement.

all i know is that according to our wright express report, i picked up 2-3 mpg by changing my air filter alone earlier this year and that whole correct tire pressure thing is just common sense.
