I read where fellow Cleveland Congressman Dennis Kucinich was visibly upset at the news - they were among the very few in '02 to openly oppose the Iraq War.

In general I'm a fan of road testing tunes, especially if they're more experimental in nature. Early versions can be very different from the finished product, and can provide lively discussion among fans as to what seems to work and what doesn't. I saw both One Wing and Sunny Feeling in Indy and they seemed to be a little too close to SBS for my tastes, but that doesn't mean that the germ of the idea might not come to be a monster in the studio. No rush guys - take your time. We're a patient lot.

I do remember when FM was a cool place to go - especially late at night. MTV never really impressed me too much, but shows like the great New Wave Theatre was a godsend in the early '80s. Thanks to this place I have been turned on to many fine bands - most notably Califone, and Tortoise. Thanks folks.

Even though the 7/26/72 show isn't the first thing you'd think of when discussing killer '72 shows, this one has some gems. I've always loved the Dark Star from this show, and the Comes A Time that it goes into is very sweet.
