  1. Congratulations my friend! All the best to you & your family. Might I suggest a 120 min. DFH celebratory brew? I think it's warranted.
  2. If I may quote: All them rock-n-roll writers is the worst kind of sleaze Selling Punk like some new kind of English disease Is that the wave of the future? Aww, spare me please and Fuck all them writers with their pen in their hand I will be more specific so they might understand They can all kiss my ass because it's so grand They best just stay away Hey, hey, hey ----FZ
  3. I'm down with Always In Love. With this present group, I think Hotel Arizona needs to be dragged out of mothballs.
  4. Never owned a cell phone, but if I did, it would have one of J. Garcia's patended "Tiger Meltdowns" from some '72-'74 Dark Star/ TOO.
  5. Thanks so much! These webcasts are truly the next best thing to being there.
  6. A few thoughts from last night.. After a VERY difficult afternoon for Poca & myself (car issues), we finally made the pre-show gathering & that was very very nice. I was a bit out of sorts due to the car and all, though. The first song-Shake It Off. Hmmmm....these dudes are trying to tell me something! So, I shook it off & had a very good concert! I thought 'Seeds' was awesome live. Very good stuff. Other highlights for me were PK Black (of course...can we all say "Thank you Leo!"), and Poor Places>Spiders. I've seen this combo a few times now & it's still one of my fa
  7. I'm guessing you watched the Pittsburgh one, but here's some trivia for ya (you probably know this already): the host of the NYC Chiller Theatre, Zacherley, is the dude on the 2/14/70 Fillmore East show that introduces the band--"The Grateful Goddamn Dead!!"
  8. Oh man, that's a whole thread in itself...'How Bad Does Journey Suck?'
  9. Dan-O, feel free to let us know how indy was. I had some friends there tonight, but I was at work.
  10. Summertime is still the hardest. I still miss them guys.

  12. The Elbow room is just 2 blocks west of the Murat. Good beer, good food. Anyone else innarested in this?
  13. Oh. Thank cod the New Yardbirds decided to call themselves Led Zeppelin instead. I wasn't born in the desert, etc., but the doctor did call me crazy once!
  14. Imo this tune really came into its own when Brent joined the band. The Hammond really beefed it up.
  15. This really isn't that hard to believe. It reminds me of the Army during WW II developing a super-hallucinogen bomb that would incapacitate enemy troops by making them trip their asses off.
  16. We'll be there with the whole crew. AND....happy Birfday mylifeisought! See ya around PT.
  17. Thanks for that El F. I'll take good news anytime these days. Frist is NOT one of my favorite people, but him & Daschle involved together on this is a good thing imo.
  18. I gotta agree w/ wheel & A-man here. Other than their remake of Roll over Beethoven I find it to be a little, shall we say, too 'radio friendly' for my tastes.
  19. I've never heard em. Thanks for the link, I'll check that out to see if it warrants arriving early.
  20. I'll bet you remember this dude then, "The Sure Thing". Boy those guys were really bad in the early '70's.
