  1. If they threw in the BCT shows that immediately preceded Veneta that would be really sweet. I bought the NRPS show from 8/27 many years ago. If you guys haven't picked that one up it's definitely worth the $$$.
  2. The tension is KILLING me! I like the expectation. Maybe they'll finally give us some more Early Brent Era.
  3. This is ludicrous. It's not like anyone said "your mama is a whore" or "go kill yourself", and even if they did, what's the problem? IT'S THE INTERNET FOR CHRISSAKES. I can't believe it's been 10 years and you didn't get fucked with at least a few times? Ever try Phish board? Good Lord, they would've chewed you up in like 15 minutes.
  4. Well now, that was uncomfortable as hell. I liked it.
  5. Well, everyone has to have a pee break song. This will be mine. I can usually time it to be back in the room when Nels goes off. LOL
  6. Oh man, Sunken Treasure the way it's supposed to be.
  7. Thanks, IRDB. That was just what I needed. Fucking AWESOME.
  8. Best thing about Bucket? It was even money to be followed by Sugaree! How many of that combo did we see?
  9. Listen to the Grateful Dead, every day. It's like nutrition for the soul. And if you get into the adult film industry make sure you get tested regularly. That's all I got off the top of my head.
  10. Gotta love that Bobby's first gig back after his 'vacation' he opened with "Easy To Slip". Beat everyone to the punch, and his warped sense of humor is intact.
  11. We touch base with each other only occasionally, but yes he's a very cool guy. He brought me here, in fact - so y'all can give him hell for that. Along with Califone he turned me into The Long Ryders, Morphine, and many others.
  12. I saw 'em open with Divided Sky once (8/13/96). Best Phish show I ever saw. The 2nd set that night opened with AC/DC Bag.
  13. Good calls on the Help>Slip>Frank and Back In The Saddle. I saw both of those and it was a great way to get things rolling.
  14. I've always been partial to the Allman's "Don't Want You No More > Ain't My Cross To Bear".
  15. Yep. Maybe Summerteeth a second choice, or Ghost. SBS? HELL no, that's crazy.
  16. Once again, RS doesn't disappoint. Their lists make me want to kill. I'm not going to rant about this now, I'm listening to 6/10/73 and I feel happy for the moment.
  17. Ahhh, you beat me to it! One of my first "favorite shows". Maybe still my favorite. I'm pulling it out for tonight when I get home.
  18. It's a fine line a biographer has to tread between being the adoring fan and the hard-hitting investigative journalist. I guess you have to stroke the ego a little at first before you can dig into the tough stuff. Sort of a carrot/stick approach. And if you're the huge fan there's never enough books out on your favorite subject. Trust me on this one
  19. Man, I miss that stuff. DDN, Unbroken Chain, and especially Mikel.
  20. If y'all have a copy, or can find one of the first Compendium check out John Dwork's epic tome regarding 8/27/72. It's pretty cosmic, mannnn. I love that show but I mean it's just over the top.
  21. Damn. When you line 'em all up like that it certainly gives one pause, doesn't it? I can see a few of those but I'll tell you what (and no offense intended to anyone who's a fan) - if I would have been there and saw that fucking Barbie Doll come out and sing on that tune I would've walked straight to the box office, demanded my money back, and ended up in handcuffs most likely. Repre-fucking-hensible. WTF? Is Marianne dead?
  22. Sure! Lammy and anyone else please feel free to chime in as well. Obviously The Greeks - 7/13 and 7/15 in particular. Spring shows: 4/1 is very strong, 5/8, 6/14 (especially set 2) Summer: 6/24, 6/30!!! (I was there), 7/6 Fall: As Oil said, 10/12 is insane, 11/2, and set 2 10/20 is dreamy. Yeah we should throw 12/31 in there as well.
