  1. I don't know, I liked being able to catch a few HC Sunshines, myself. I appreciated the fact that they brought it back after 20 years of it laying dormant. Of course it's different than the early version and all but a lot of tunes from then were re-worked/abbreviated/re-interpreted. I'm not sure it's really fair to compare the two versions of Sunshine, either. We're talking comparing a time when they were still full of youth and vigor to a time when the road had been bumpy for awhile. Either way, I agree that the early versions smoke compared to the '92 and onward ones. I still enjoyed the

  3. Yeah, you never know but still: what a shitty trade if it goes down.
  4. This game is going from bad to worse. Two false starts in a row? yeesh.
  5. Dye to CIN for Homer Bailey? http://www.daytondailynews.com/s/content/o...8spredsweb.html
  6. I've been listening to ^ a bunch of late and I need to add, in addition to mb's notes above, that the HC Sunshine is phenomenal, as well. I believe it's just over 15 min. and gets pretty "out there" in a very nice way. Some great textures laid down from all sides of the stage in it. The transiition ("Feelin' Groovy Jam") between China-Rider is smooth as silk, too. ed. Also of note: no Donna (maternity leave)!
  7. I wonder if there'll be rioting in gated communities across the U.S.
  8. Lay off the bong hits immediately before shoveling next time.
  9. What're you guys all octagenarians? How hard is it to shovel snow? It's fun, too. You're outside in the cold and breaking a sweat at the same time. Buncha mama's boys.... (save for Preferred B. So far)
  10. The Sox stand to save a substantial amount of dough if Pedroia continues to play at the level he has and actually lasts until his arbitration / FA years and hadn't been re-signed earlier. On the flip side, if he gets injured often/can't play long, BOS loses. It's a win-win for both sides, really. Pedroia is locked up with guaranteed money and the Sox have him at a good price for a decent amount of time should he maintain....

  12. If you lived in CO you wouldn't care because it'd be melted within a day or two anyway. Sure, this doesn't help at all but it may make you think about a few things.
  13. I could sure go for spanking a few lines.
  14. Go back and yell at those lines and then shovel them up. Or leave them to melt a slow death. p.s. I actually enjoy shovelling snow.
  15. I beleive so.... I know The Stanley Brothers recorded "Jordan" which is basically the same (lyrically) as "Cold Jordan," and " And We Bid You Goodnight" I believe has pretty old folk/ Bluegrass roots, as well.

  17. Pshh, for $50-100? That's tough even on Colfax.
  18. What do you mean by "new?" Is it old footage that's being released or new animation? I'm hoping it's old footage that never made the original cut, like Dom DeLouise and Burt Reynolds laughing at muffed lines at the end of Cannonball Run and stuff, but with Heat Miser and Snow Miser hootin' and hollerin' eachother up. Though they released a re-issue a few years ago, I believe.
  19. How about signing him up for a kid's photography class or Art studio class? Check your local paper, hippy magazine, YMCA, schools, craiglist, etc.

  23. The past year was brutal to me in many ways and brought life-altering changes to my life that was filled with some very dark times. I have lots to be thankful for. I'm thankful for the shitty year that has helped open my heart and eyes to what matters to me. I'm thankful for my three boys who bring love, serenity, and giggling into my life while simultaneously, at times, having the innate ability to drive me nuts. I'm thankful for my ex-wife, even, who has helped me to put what's important into perspective. And for her friendship. I'm also thankful for friends new and old and the colle
