As much as I enjoy listening to a ball game on the radio I'll take the accompanied video to go with it any day. Listening to the radio game while cleaning the garage or working on a project is fantastic, but for overall relaxing I'll take the game on t.v.

I've got a sweet version of "At A Siding-> Terp. Flyer" from red Rocks last year and it's just fantastic, really well done stuff. That was with Kimock, though.

Agree with the Edge. Pretty much came up with his own style. Mark Knopfler gets a very unique sound, too. Garcia was able to play a variety of tones not only throughout his tenure but within any given show. I think of comparing early 70s Row Jimmy's to late 70s Row Jimmys or the sound he gets on Deal for the album versus a live JGB Deal. One of my favorites is the tones on Shining Star from early 90s JGB. Jorma has a pretty distinguishable tone, too, that I love. oh, and B.B. King.

This is great. They would not have offered this unless they want to hire you. When I helped run a pre-school this was what we always did before hiring. You need to see how the person does on the job with the little kids, first. It's your opportunity to take the job that's already yours, in a sense.

Seriously. I can see them as easily the team with the least amount of runs scored this year. Is Molina their clean-up hitter now? Yikes. Refusing to bring back Bonds will not only hurt them for offense but at the gate. With Feliz gone as well, HRs and overall runs scored drop significantly. Worst team out of the NL.

Oh, I wouldn't stop going. I'll be going two nights in May to the Fillmore. I just wasn't as heavily impressed last fall as I have been with some of his other line ups, but it was still good music being put out. I actually like Jackie Greene's style with the band. Molitz and Molo will be sitting in with Banyan after one or both shows at my pal's bar, too. Should be two great nights of music. Unfortunately, Wilco is playing about an hour south on the first night. There's a slight chance I may hit Wilco on the 8th instead (variables to consider and all).

I agree, though the few he did with Kimock, Trey, Page, and Donna at the Warfield in April '99 right after his liver transplant were excellent. First tune back was Clapton's "Hello Old Friend" done with an acoustic guitar, Phil singing, and Phil's two boys (young at the time) on background vocals. Cheesy but sweet. Jackie Greene
