Is anybody going to these shows (or who went to any of the FTWs) remotely thinking they are GD shows, though? Of course the GD died when Garcia died. This is just the remnants (warts and all) of what once once, but I haven't met anyone who has compared the FTW or whatever to GD in any meaningful way because it's not even a close or fair comparison.

I cringe whenever I see GG Allin's name and end up a little miffed now that the degenerate sack of shit is even in my thoughts for a short time.

Weir has been playing slower-tempo song versions with Ratdog for quite awhile, so I can see that transferring over to the GD fringe bands, too. Like the summer shows, I have little desire to catch these shows unless they're in my back yard, which 2 of them are. So now I need another excuse to try and weasel out of them....

Yeah, it's a hard habit to break....

I'd say it's no Saturday in the park for any band to "get in," as it seems about as random as a Roulette wheel.

Hole's Celebrity Skin and Live Through This are both excellent albums, imo. She's annoyong as fuck but has made some good music.

JRAD in Denver last October was a musical highlight for the year. The band flat-out crushes and has a unique twist to the songs. Refreshing band.

That Avs/Wild game last night was a bitch to watch (especially with the Bruins trouncing intermittently being mentioned by the announces).

I just figured he would feel guilty about the hookers because it's a somewhat nefarious and risky trade to be involved in, but you're right, I should not assume that NOJ feels guilty about the hookers.
