We were visiting my parents in Edwardsville IL last week, and were woken up by the quake. It seemed like it lasted SO long...it felt like the bed was swaying for at least 60 seconds! We felt the second one around 1030 am, too. Crazy.

I am a pediatric infectious disease physician; one of my jobs is running a pediatric HIV clinic in Portland. I happen to take care of all HIV-infected children and adolescents (at least who we know of) in the state of Oregon and SW Washington state. Except the kids with Kaiser Permanente insurance. Hoping for a viral cure during my medical career.

sorry WWN, vitamin D is important for strong bones but not really for fighting off a viral infeciton. just want to make sure people get good info here. but i guess it's indirectly accurate; UV rays (IE sunshine) converts your Vitamin D to a more "useable" form for your body. So SUNSHINE will help "wash away yer blues and fend off the sickies." But not really Vitamin D. Carry on.
