wow...how unfortunate. and the setlist is rather boring, except for the new material... -
By Gumption, the melody in "What Light" is UNWELLLLL

You could be a human being by not being so goddamn condescending and letting other people, who are also Wilco fans, prefer their era of Wilco as they wish. p.s. I think it's funny how you seem to hold the belief that you are the definitive Wilco fan. -
the etree source of this show has a slight skip on I'm A Wheel...are there any other sources for this show? this is kinda picky but i treat my shows like babies.

Stan said no SBDs until the new material is released. it seems only fair.

the double negative implies more dissimilarities than similarities.

capo10 is sometimes brutal on acoustics, especially depending on when they joint... crazy...though i would expect if jeff did this he would just tune down to DGCFAD like he used to do for Hummingbird...

what do you think is the best guitar (electric)
Gobias Industries replied to sean Patrick's topic in Solid State Technology
probably an SG, preferably P-90'd out. mostly Gibson-style necks, however, Les Pauls are too heavy for my taste. -
just because Kotche and Stirratt don't play like weed-smoking garage bands do doesn't make them anemic.

he might use two for two separate signals, e.g. pan left, pan right for certain things.

chances are, the 6.28.06 one. first performance.

they seem to like ending with A Shot In The Arm >>>> Spiders (Kidsmoke) now. hmmmmmm... or at least something >>>>> Spiders

i still give a couple of the tracks almost god-status, though. some are weaker than the others, which doesn't help it at all...

Jeff uses Fishman Rare Earth pickups, unless my eyes decieve me.

What's the best guitar magazine these days?
Gobias Industries replied to jdlee23's topic in Solid State Technology
Guitar Player, hands down. At least because of the best feature article they've had, which was Nels, actually. It's unpretentious in their cover selection, as they pick good guitarists on the cover, not just some shitty punk/emo act that's in (e.g. falloutboy? wtf). the lessons are also very helpful, as they cultivate basic skills rather than teaching you how to play said falloutboy, which is rather not useful for becoming a better guitar player. -
Is there one show out there that is a must have?

us in the viachicago forum were trying to get Wilco to close with Pieholden Suite or Cars Can't Escape, but alas, we failed. no Impossible Germany either. on a webcast too. oh well...
