  1. I'm Only Sleeping for now, I can guarantee I will stumble on another gem within the next day or so. every Beatles song is a fucking gem!
  2. Come on, you can't deny that Harrison was at least as good as Lennon and McCartney with cuts like Something (Sinatra said that was the best love song ever written...even if he thought Lennon/McCartney wrote it, which would in fact make one believe that Harrison would be equal to Lennon-McCartney), Taxman, Here Comes the Sun, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, For You Blue, and more...and that's just his Beatles material. http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/594...musical_moments
  3. Psyche! A Hard Day's Night is solid gold. Literally. Ask your neighbor chemist. He will tell you that it is pure Au.
  4. OSU: 10/13 Kent St - Can't read, can't write, Kent State! Easyyyy game. 10/20 Mich St - Could be worrisome, Mich. St has a great squad, but I think home field makes this a winner. 10/27 at Penn State - Not too sure, the Lions are an on-and-off squad, they can be on fire or completely terrible. Depends on the power of the JoePa. 11/03 #19 Wisconsin - Easy. Wisconsin is a terrible club, they've almost lost every game they've played, including losing to Illinois. 11/10 #18 Illinois - This could be our toughest game if Illinois continues to play like they are now (or improve). We
  5. Jinkies! Not another Beatles poll?! I will partake in this later.
  6. I would only get Hofner basses, personally. If you want the early Beatles, get a Gretsch, if you want mid-Beatles I'd suggest an Epiphone Casino.
  7. George and Paul. I can't decide. So I voted. I'd rank them George=Paul Ringo John...mostly because I feel like all the politico stuff diluted Lennon's ability to write songs that were songs...not just statements. "Art of Dying" is awesome. So is "Listen To What The Man Said." I wonder if McCartney has played it recently.
  8. Hook me up with the recording. I may not have a guitar, but I can identify a key pretty easy.
  9. You know, I kinda wanted the Bills to win. And then they pulled the I'm-a-dick-so-I'm-going-to-call-a-timeout-right-when-the-dude-kicks. And then they deserved to lose.
  10. you have omitted Elvis Costello and the Attractions. i still stand by my vote, but man.
  11. Wow. I was totally kidding. But to disprove your claim, Outtasite (Outta Mind) was first performed in 1994, which would be a year before "Washing Machine," sooooo...
  12. vote. Paul could be dead, but they found a hell of a replacement.
  13. Yeah, Spoon (or rather just the front-dude) messed up Underdog pretty bad, I heard it before this and I liked the tune a lot... Cherry Bomb turned out a lot better, but I'm not familiar with it, so I won't comment.
  14. Probably, yes. It periodically varies between Beatles and Wilco, it depends on the mood. But if the question asked about the best band, it would HANDS DOWN be the Beatles. None can ever, ever, come anywhere close.
  15. There'll come a time when all of us must leave here Then nothing sister Mary can do Will keep me here with you As nothing in this life that I've been trying Could equal or surpass the art of dying Do you believe me? There'll come a time when all your hopes are fading When things that seemed so very plain Become an awful pain Searching for the truth among the lying And answered when you've learned the art of dying But you're still with me But if you want it Then you must find it But when you have it There'll be no need for it There'll come a time when most of us return here Brought back b
  16. For me it is. Around my circles listening to Jethro Tull, let alone knowing who they are, is either non-existent or meaning that its existence means the devil is around.
  17. I almost thought this review condemned SBS with the generic lack of grammar and spelling.
  18. Exactly. Everyone is too ashamed to admit that they like a band when they are also liked by frat boys who have never spent a day sober since they were 19.
  19. Those are two of the sexiest guitars I have ever seen.
  20. Well, you must be the other half of the nation that hates OSU. Based on the playing this week, if LSU lost, OSU would have been the only team that would have deserved that spot (moreso if they shut out Purdue, but that's a moot point...we had a third string or something by then, so whatever). And plus the OSU team is "new blood" - we're a very young team as it is at the moment. Plus, Cal and USF would have rounded out the top 3, and USF is "new blood" if anything is.
  21. LSU sticks at 1 Cal will probably be 2 OSU at three (wooooooooooooooo) USF at 4 and the rest doesn't matter.
