I can't wait for this show. Got 2nd row tickets at the Savoy to see them

He's been in quite a few films actually. Most recently that I've seen him in was Junebug. He plays a small part, but a part nonetheless. I haven't seen Old Joy yet, but I will. Unfortunately he's taking some heat in the press about this movie. People are comparing it to Brokeback just because it's about two guys in the woods.

Oh wow. I can't wait to see this. I got goosebumps just from the trailer. He's amazing. *sigh*

Sunken Treasure: Live in the Pacific Northwest
Papillon Parade replied to Hellman22's topic in Just A Fan
I had no idea it was actually called Sunken Treasure! (my fave song) I've been away from the board for a bit as of late. Looks like Christmas will come early for this little cow-poke -
Been listening to this show for a few days now..wow. Excellent quality...and I'm pretty sure I can hear myself screaming atleast once after each song Thanks again!

Check it out Keep in mind it was my very first attempt

For my boyfriends birthday I made him a song using garageband. Since there aren't any lyrics I decided to use an interview with his favourite band (Gomez). I mashed pieces of the interview together so it made it sound like they were talking about him, they happened to be talking about some guy with the same name as my b/f. He loved it. Now I'm hooked. Next I'm doing one with clips of Anton Newcombe from the Brian Jonestown Massacre talking..then a Henry Rollins spoken word.
-
Well I hope all of you have a great time at his shows. That's the one disadvantage of living on the east coast of Canada, not many good bands come to our neck of the woods. However the road trips are always a blast..next year we're gonna try and make it to Bonnaroo with hopes of seeing Wilco, Gomez and Kings of Leon all the same weekend.

New Ben Kweller Track - "Penny On The Train Track"
Papillon Parade replied to brittboas's topic in Someone Else's Song
I love me some Ben Kweller..I'll check it out at home..thanks! You guys heard any of "The Bens"? Ben K., Ben Folds and Ben Lee..tis purdy good. -
I don't have a problem with Wilco becoming popular. It's the fans that popularity brings that I hate. The guys who jump on the "cool" bandwagon and have no idea why they even like the songs they're listening to. They ruin shows for me.

Nervous tic is up there for me...so far I do believe I've found myself a new RSBF
