  7. I can name that song in three notes... I used to be the king of the radio game--first one to name the song and the artist. Now, my hearing is not so good, but on the classic rock stations, no one comes close.
  8. I read this around the same time my young nephew asked me if David Bowie had a big influence on music. Last I really thought about Bowie was when watching the Bill Murray movie, The Life Acquatic (which I loved though most didn't seem to like it much--loved that soundtrack). Curious to hear from folks here what they think of Bowie's legacy and how or if he made much of an impact on music.   19. I've been reading amazing reviews for the new Cormac McCarthy book, The Crossing....but it looks pretty desolate and depressing (though cannabalism after the apocalypse could be a hoot!). Anyone read it and recommend?
