  1. Any more luck with "In a Future Age"?
  2. Could I get Dear Employer or What Light? I don't think either of them are taken.
  3. I'm dying for "In a Future Age". Can't wait.
  4. You like Nels Cline, duly noted. I like Nels' stuff but I do understand where people who say it's kind of stiff and even boring sometimes are coming from. The man can shred, that's for sure but that's not always the best thing.
  5. I just downloaded it and like it alot so far. I'll probably end up buying it when it comes out (or deleting it from my computer).
  6. That made my afternoon. For the record: Wohoo! The Cardinals won the Series in my lifetime!
  7. Just strum the D chord (in Dropped D) no capo. For the hammer ons, keep the D strumming and use your pinky and first finger to hammer: A: --4--0--2--4--2 So it's like a D shape, an Em, Cm for the verse and for the chorus just alternate a D shape and a D/B(ish) shape. Sorry for the uncertain terms but it sounds good when I play it. The solo version of I'm the Man Who Loves You that I play is pretty similar, if Capo 2 and a D7 - Gm(ish) progression for the verse and for the chorus Barre a B (9th fret relative to capo?) same with the 7th fret. I may try to clean these up later is anyone
  8. I just fingerpick an Eb power chord at the 6th fret (capo 3), then a C, then a G. If you do it halfway right it sounds pretty similar to the ending piano riff.
  9. I have a Fall '04 Limited 312 and I love it, though Larrive do make excellent guitars.
  10. LaRussa looks like an angry old man, which he may be, but he's been the manager of the Cardinals for practically my whole life. He's like a weird friend of the family that comes over once a week and grumbles alot.
  11. I don't know if this topic has been discussed yet, though I'm sure it has in some degree. I'm looking for suggestions as to a good overdrive pedal for my setup (SG + AC30) in order to add a good Wilco/Neil Young crunch to my playing. It'd be nice if the pedal wasn't a whole lot more than $100 (US).
  12. Yeah, so the Cardinals just kicked the collective asses of the Tigers and it feels good. w00t.
  13. I only got to go to the show in Springfield, so it was the best.
  14. Once I listened to every song he ever recorded, in sequence, during an eight plus hour shift at work. It sucks I never got to see him live.
  15. I wish my dad was Jeff Tweedy... And that Glenn Kotche probably taught me how to play drums.
