I find it dated, but listen to it for nostalgia's sake from time to time. In my HS Drama class, my group did an interpretive dance to Add It Up. It pretty much kicked ass.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst. That's how my sister-in-law's dad went. Never a big fan of his movies (Red Dawn is a guilty pleasure), but I will remember him fondly from the Chris Farley Chippendales skit on SNL.

I tend to forget how much Ben Folds swears and not pause his CDs when student come see me for extra help. Oops.

Spent all day talking about it with 12-year-olds. They were 4 at the time. One of my students said her dad was on the other side of the Pentagon when the plane crashed. I sometimes think I should chuck out my social studies curriculum and just teach history backwards from whatever is going on in the world today. Trace the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan back through the discovery of oil in the Mideast, the Arab/Israeli conflict, and even back to the Crusades.

I call bullshit

I think I've said it before, The Wiggles weren't nearly as annoying as I was expecting. Some of their tunes have decent melodies and harmonies. Would I choose to listen to them? No. Can I tolerate it to see my kids happy? Yep. We (momd & dad) much prefer Dan Zanes, Justin Roberts, Ralph's World, Laurie Berkner, They Might Be Giants, and a few others.

This is me during our opening day assembly at school. I was supposed to be Bruno, a judge on some reality dance show. I studied him on youtube for about 30 seconds and raided our drama teacher's wardrobe closet.

I plan on showing this message to my classes on Wednesday. I will preview it, but expect it to be a very nice motivational apolitical speech.

The punishment is in no shape, way, or form too harsh. The guy from BSU should face some punishment as well. In an unrelated note, my hawkeyes sure stunk it up today. A win's a win, but geez.

I appreciate this list. I never submitted. Too hard to sort through all the material, pick 20, and rank 'em. Some of you put a lot of thought into this.
