Since Obama picked Biden, I had been growing in the belief that Mike Huckabee would've been a smart choice for McCain. Social conservatives love him. I, personally, cannot stand most of the Christian Coalition Republicans, but respect Huckabee. He's smart, friendly w/ some Democrats (e.g., former Iowa gov. Vilsack), and darned funny as he's shown during several appearances on Colbert Report. In a debate, his humor and gentle demeanor could've really defused Biden. A weak entry the Mould catalog, some would say horrible. There are a handful of good songs.

It reminds me of stories about Red Sox fans who just wanted to live long enough to see them win the World Series, on a much more significant level. This woman stayed alive just long enough to marry the love of her life.

I only watch Imus on that. I may start watching reruns of Hee-Haw when that's on. Horrible show, but some great musicians.
