This is a really funny book! It really pushes (the burns to ashes) the envelope on good taste. Maybe not worth buying, but a trip to the bookstore to read.

I used to love seeing Lyle live, but he seems to be losing his mojo. Glad you enjoyed this show, though. It's been a long time since he's really wowed me with his songwriting. His shows are good, but don't vary much from one to another. I did have the pleasure of seeing a 3 piece acoustic show at a beautiful old theater in Des Moines (Hoyt Sherman Place) many years ago. I won't buy it as quickly as I bought Outside when Bowie reunited w/ Eno. That one pretty much blew. Byrne recently made music w/ a skyscraper. I don't know and don't care about the details of that, but it sounds like jumping the shark to me.
