Many of the lyrics are dated, as is Lou's mullet, but it is almost 20 years old now. It is a tremendous album, though. I love the sound of the guitars on it.

This is a really funny book! It really pushes (the burns to ashes) the envelope on good taste. Maybe not worth buying, but a trip to the bookstore to read.

Her dad lives in West Des Moines. She was in "We Are Marshall" and he came in to my bookstore to buy a magazine article about the movie. She is easy on the eyes for sure.

I used to love seeing Lyle live, but he seems to be losing his mojo. Glad you enjoyed this show, though. It's been a long time since he's really wowed me with his songwriting. His shows are good, but don't vary much from one to another. I did have the pleasure of seeing a 3 piece acoustic show at a beautiful old theater in Des Moines (Hoyt Sherman Place) many years ago. They really nailed "Friend of the Devil" that night. The acoustics in that theater were unbelievable. My wife was at home recovering from having her wisdom teeth removed and I still keep lying to her, saying it wasn't tha
