  1. I just absolutely love this song, so so much oh lord. Ok folks this song usually means the counting of the nothings!
  2. awe look at that they're saying Hi to us from Milwaukee, helloooooo back.
  3. I'm drinking a big big glass of milk and eating some Miss Vickies original chips, going alright lol.
  4. Ok, I'm on track now. Time to hear some new stuff!
  5. Mine has been skipping as well, goshdarn.
  6. Sorry I have been dormant, doing homework and the such. But I am now ready to talk it up! Let's hear some new songs!
  7. I believe the drummer is probably off doing something with his book. I like the album, some good songs, some filler, but I certainly don't think that it deserves 5 stars from Uncut or any other magazine.
  8. Alright folks, it's been a damn long time since we've had a webcast of any sort, and even a longer time since we've had one of our massive webcasts (I'm talking it becomes like 40 pages of craziness), and I think it's well over due and I miss it. We have lots to look forward to tonight, hopefully more new songs, maybe banter about what they're calling the new album (WilcoVI anyone?) and maybe we'll hear about how the album cover photo shoot went. So I think we should sit down, eat some popcorn (or some form of snacks, yummm), fight over what song is coming up next and have some fun!
  9. John Cale, because I like his records more (though I absolutely love Transformer) and my parents named me after him.
  10. Since we've heard everyone of those songs in some form, besides Black Bull Nova and You Never Know, what did You Never Know sound like?

    Wilco DVD

Loooooks quite nice, I'm getting pretty excited, for those of us that pre-ordered it we should be expecting them next week then right? I think I remember Musictoday saying that they'd be shipping around the 12th?
  12. There is no way that CDII or LWW comes close to this one, it really is just plain embarrassing and I really am hoping that he plays as little as possible from this when I see him next. I think Neil might actually be going senile now. Like previously said though, time to put on some classic Neil, Tonight's The Night here we come.
  13. I was thinking of throwing a stuffed animal seal with a Canadian flag onstage, what do you guys think?
  14. The odds are pretty good IMO actually!
  15. The new Dylan's title didn't get announced until this week! It comes out in April! It seems pretty common these days to be able to create a lot of the hype in a very short amount of time.
  16. Ambulance Blues - Neil Young The only song I've ever cried during at a concert, along with half the crowd in Toronto, soooooo beautiful. Gold In Them Hills - Ron Sexsmith Ron has this ability to say things that are such simple emotions and thoughts in such an elegant way and this song is the perfect example. Tom Traubert's Blues - Tom Waits Need I say anything more? Tomorrow Is A Long Time - Bob Dylan Probably one of my favorite songs of all time, and definitely my favorite Dylan love song (Nick Drake's version also has something about it).
  17. Stars in Toronto three years ago, didn't go in expecting too much but I thought they were a really really slick live band with damn catchy tunes. Blitzen Trapper, opening for John Vanderslice before they got signed to Sub Pop, I definitely knew they had something going on for them.
  18. Well, it was back in Blind River in 1962 When I last saw you alive But we missed that shift on the long decline Long may you run. When I met Neil a couple years ago I mentioned the Sault and he had fond memories, the only border to let him cross when he was on his journey to LA!
