  2. Just bought this on vinyl: Easily one of my favorite record of the past decade.
  3. I've been really into Chrome Dreams (the 1st) lately. The acoustic version of Powderfinger blows me away.
  4. Indian food is awesome. I cannot get enough saag paneer and vegetable korma.
  5. Wow. Cool. However, I am skeptical of these books sometimes. I'll bet that our archive here at VC turns out to be a better resource...
  6. Best wrap-up that I have seen...
  7. "Have A Cigar", also. Reel Big Fish's "Sell Out" kinda qualifies...
  8. Yeah, me too. Another one for me is John Mayer - He is a really talented guitar player but his voice makes me want to stuff sharp objects into my ears.
  9. I just bought ST on vinyl and I had serious skipping on Cant Stand It. Sounds great, tho ...
  10. My hobby is playing (and slowly collecting) acoustic guitars and other stringed instruments (I just bought a 6-string Uke in Maui). GAS is crippling obsession.
  11. One, Two, Three, Four **cough** One, two, three, four!
  12. Thanks to some recent VC suggestions:
  13. No worries. I love these samplers because they expose me to new artists that are not on my radar. For example, I really liked that Foals song on the Subpop sampler. Gotta check them out.
  14. I have to say, The Stand has to be one of my top ten books ever. Epic.
  15. ( free on amazon.com right now, BTW: Subpop, Merge)

  17. I'd suggest looking thru the Wilco Archive at O&B
  18. Yes, the bluegrass coda to LR is the best moment on the album. I did see the tiny desk concert; very cool. I recently saw TAB and the opened with LR.
  19. Yes, this is my feeling. I am an acoustic guitar / banjo guy. There was not enough of either on I&L&Y.
  20. I could listen to this a million times and not ever get tired of it. Brilliance.
