  1. I saw them at the Empty Bottle a month a go and it was a damn fine show. The drummer is like a human metronome. The two albums they have out are outstanding. What a great band.

    Wilco at Lolla

I'm sure it's somewhat arbitrary at this point, but I'd hope no one would go up against Radiohead.
  3. I really liked what Trey did with The Duo in GRAB, and Mike and Leo Kotkee together were amazing. As for a Phish reunion, I'd be all for it. It'd definitely be fun to spend another weekend with them at Alpine or Deer Creek.
  4. -Beck - Sea Change (entire album) -At My Window Sad & Lonely - Billy Bragg and Wilco -Sometimes Salvation - The Black Crowes -George Harrison - All Things Must Pass -Anything written by Elliott Smith
  5. I stopped looking after I didn't see Marquee Moon in the top 20.
  6. I really like Cap'n Jazz and their influence on post punk. Bands like Cursive or even At the Drive In would not be what they are today without Cap'n Jazz. Have any of their recordings been remastered?
  7. I thought the exact same thing, although I figure that Pat has learned a lot of his licks from Nels.
  8. Sounds just a bit too Nashville for my tastes, not bad though.
  9. Really? I didn't get into them until they opened for Wilco at the Millennium Park show, but since then I have purchased all of their albums. We All Belong is by far my favorite. Maybe it's just because the production is the best? What let you down with the album?
  10. I don't think that they'd play all 3 nights eithar, however, pollstar says "Wilco/Tally Hall" on Sunday. I don't know if this has been brought up yet, but is there any sort of relevance to this? Does Wilco have any sort of connection to Tally Hall?

    going to Indy?

Well, I'm doing Lolla, but I'd almost rather be doing the RH>Wilco shows in Indy.
  12. I'd join a Wilco frat in a second.

    Wilco 1995

Great find. Their sound in 1995 was insanely good. That lineup was on top of their game at that point.
  14. Well, it's back up but the DVD Project torrents are gone. Anyone know where I can find these?
  15. According to Radioheads site, they are playing the first day. If Wilco goes up against Radiohead, that'd be a complete fuck in the ass.
  16. One of my favorite Wilco songs.
  17. Wasn't Alone pretty much a Bennett song? It appeared on In the Palace at 4am as the name "Shakin' Sugar", if I'm not mistaken.
  18. Cool, just by those lyrics in the clip, it doesn't seem like it would've fit well on SBS. Sounds like a decent song though.
  19. It doesn't, maybe strong on Pat vox?
  20. Definitely, sounds like mid 90's Tweedy all over again.
  21. Hey, thanks Eric! Nice meeting you, see ya around at some shows in Chicago! Dave
  22. Count me in for another, although it could've been this past weekend and not Wilco, either way, my throat hurts like the dickens!
