  1. Stop complaining, they rescheduled. Wilco does not owe you shit. I've had other bands cancel on me too. Built to Spill and Ween both canceled on shows I had tickets for and made up for them int he best way possible. One more thing, how many of you have called in sick to work? Or set a Dr's Appointment then rescheduled it? Give them a break.

  3. Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had an extra Residency Friday poster. I got every night except for Friday, and of course I want the whole collection! Let me know. And while I'm at it, it was great meeting you all at the shows (Allison, Wendy, Louie, Charlie and everyone i'm forgetting). Hope to see you all again sometime, and if not, we know our same spot for next year! daviddszabo@gmail.com Dave
  4. Same with me, just got the 1st night and now it looks like they've been removed. Damnit!
  5. It is a rock show. You stand at a rock show. It's a sign of respect for the band and it brings more energy to the audience. I can guarantee that more people in the balcony want to stand and dance then sit and get tired. I have seen MANY shows at the Riv where everyone is standing in the balcony. I've seen many shows in general where everyone stands regardless. It's just hard for me to see the band giving all they have and the audience sitting there like stones.
  6. The Headliners don't do it for me, except for Modest Mouse and Primus. The rest of the festival looks pretty good though. It's only a few short hours from Chicago and it's been 2 years since I've hit up a camping festival, I may just do it for the kicks.
  7. That's it. Make sure you get out of your car and walk around too, and leave your doors unlocked.
  8. I'll be going solo Saturday-Wednesday. Hopefully I can meet some of ya'll.
  9. It doesn't matter where you are in line, it doesn't guarantee your spot anywhere in the Riv. Anyone could easily take that spot from you when you go to the bathroom too.
  10. I saw them in Chicago a few months back. They put on one of the best shows I saw in 2007.

  12. Something came up on Monday and I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the show in time. I live in Chicago and can meet anywhere in the city this weekend/week. PM or email me if interested in trading! Thanks! Dave daviddszabo@gmail.com
  13. The reply that I got was just the body of the email I sent to them. Weird. I'm sure they'll have it fixed for us soon.
  14. Great letter, let's hope for the best here!

    Great link, thanks for sharing.
  16. I've seen STS9 a few times, I don't think I'd really pay to do it again, unless at a festival. I haven't listened to Queensryche since i was 11.
  17. Hey all, I have no plans tonight, just got paid and really want to check out some good local music. Anyone know of anything going on? I have been out of the loop lately and haven't recognized any of the bands playing tonight. Suggestions?
  18. Most likely it'd be Impossible Germany, it might be hard with the 3 party guitar solo though.
  19. Being that Wilco will be in Chicago for 6 days, has anyone heard of any side shows or after shows that the boys might be sitting in on? I haven't heard of Jeff doing this much, but Nels and Glenn tend to play the smaller jazz and improv shows. I'd definitely be up for some late-night action in a small club.
  20. I was in the same boat as you today. And I ended up doing nothing. Cleaned my apartment, again. Booruns on Chicago winter.
  21. This one might be the best pop song of the 90's. It has every hook imaginable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91WgM6dNLTE
