  1. No one said anything about getting piss drunk. Thanks, that pretty much has everything I was looking for.
  2. Anyone know what time Dr. Dog will start?
  3. I have questions that I cannot find answers too. - Is there an opener? - Will outside beverages be allowed like other events at Millennium Park? - If not, will alcohol be served? - Will this show be absolutely amazing? Yes.
  4. I'd love to hear a completely stripped down album. Mostly acoustic with banjo's, piano, mandolins, all sorts of weird nels and pat instruments and glenn playing some crazy perc. Sort of folk/honky tonk sounding.
  5. Had one last night: I was in Grant Park with my girlfriend and Jeff was walked by and we started chatting with him. We talked about how the band was taking requests for the Millennium Park show on Wed and he asked if there was anything special I wanted to hear. I told him I wanted to hear Hesitating Beauty. (I was playing Hesitating Beauty with a bluegrass trio earlier in the day). We then talked about smoking cigs and some other weird shit. He was waaaaaay short in my dream though, like 5 foot 1 inch.
  6. Moe sounds more like Uncle Tupelo, IMO. Sort of like Graveyard Shift style.
  7. I hear they're going to release it under the name Caterpillar Moonshine, you heard it here second.
  8. I doubt that "The Thanks I Get" would be on a new album. It's pretty much an unoffical (as of yet) B-Side off SBS.
  9. I'm there! Hey Wilcos, I want to hear Muzzle of Bees and Sunken Treasue (the album version). Thank you friendly wilcos.
  10. Love it, love the bells, brings sort of a sonic vibe to it, and its really the first sonic sound for Wilco.
  11. I just came here to say that. Rhythm (Cars Cant Escape) is very emotional for me too. I hate to bring this up, but i feel a certain aspect of emotion left Wilco with Jay Bennett. Although, they gained much, much more in different ways through the current members.
  12. because the option isn't on the site anymore.
  13. Reserved tickets are off the site, seem to be some lawn left...
  14. I don't buy it. I think there was a mistake, I have NEVER been shut out of a Wilco presale.
  15. We do have a date now though, Sept. 12th.
  16. Bitter much? Yes, Wilco plays Chicago more often than other areas, because they are from Chicago, and they have the most fans here. Regardless, we only get one summer and the Thanksgiving shows now-a-days. I'm super pumped for this. Hopefully I can grab one of the 3,000 seats!
  17. I know there was a tracker attached to this board awhile back, so in that respect, how would a live Wilco sharing thread work here? Say, we all pitch in and sendspace/mediafire shows and post them here. I just want to get some feedback and see how this would pan out. What do ya'll think?

    Hi

    No doubt. cheers back!
  19. Doubtful that Rivers thought that when a Decade later, Pinkerton gets tons of recognition, then he puts out another shit album. I'm pretty sure he knows people will be listening to and discussing Pinkerton for years to come and not talking about the last 3 albums.
