I was really disappointed when I got my Wii and realized I couldn't actually make Wilco Miis

The only songs I heard from Sky Blue Sky prior to buying the album were the ones I heard live. I plan to do the same for this album. I'll pinky swear or whatever if you'd like me to, but I've always found it more enjoying to hold out until the actual release day for the albums I'm most eagerly awaiting.

I agree about an extra controller, especially since you have two kids. It comes with one, but of course your daughter is going to have more fun playing tennis or baseball against somebody (and you know you're going to play it when she goes to bed). The controller will run you probably about $40. After you've had the console awhile, if you find you're going through a lot of batteries (the controllers use AA), you might get a charging stand, which will come with rechargeable batteries. I'm not sure how much they are, but my friends who use theirs a lot say it pays for itself pretty quickly. A

Andrew Bird, Nels (both the solo album and the one he'll be recording soon with the Singers), U2, Wilco, Dylan, Sonic Youth...I think that's just about all of my favorites. I feel spoiled by all the new releases this year!

I was going back and forth about whether or not I wanted to come down for this. I decided I'm going to stay in Northampton and see the Charlie Hunter Trio on Saturday night, though. I hope for Clearwater's sake that they get closer to selling out.

I think Jude the Obscure is the most depressing book I've ever read. It's really well written, but boy it's bleak.
