well you certainly cannot go wrong with Tago Mago, but get Ego Bamyasi as well. you should also check out kraftwerk. overall thats a pretty solid foundation.

thats a pretty terrible list. ryan adams, josh ritter, bright eyes, band of horses, modest mouse, the shins, and the new pornographers all had terrible, boring releases this year compared to their other albums. that list is like if you are a somewhat known indieish band that had a release in 07 you make it.
