  3. it depends if you count kicking television. first back to back studio, but number three if you are counting all albums. which should be done.....
  4. Almost Blue used to have the best vinyl in town. It is located pretty close to the Wolfe. I cannot wait for the show. I hope they open with Wilco, The Song. Anyway.......
  5. why is everyone following their ideas with a questionmark. own your ideas....
  6. I have to agree, although I would not have thought of it on my own, It Just Might Be a One Shot Deal-fz is a great choice.
  7. I got mine in the mail for asheville two weeks ago.
  8. Phish covered whole albums for awhile in the 90's during their halloween shows. They covered the white album, talking heads Remain in the Light , the who's quadraphenia, and the velvet undergrounds loaded. As to the status of in/out of print......these shows were originaly distributed as bootlegs. Phish.com may have released them as offical releases, so you should check because I have heard their cover of the white album and it is fun( and good depending on your horizon of expectation). spongebob

    One Song

a.m. - dash7 being there - sunken treasure summer teeth - pieholden suite yhf - IATTBYH AGIB - ALTWYS sky blue sky - Imposible Germany my picks as the ideal. in other words..this is just my opinion.
  11. I am an album guy, so I would recomend Murmur, Reckoning, Life's Rich Pagent, Document, Out of Time, and Automatic for the People. The other albums have good songs, but these albums are where it is at for R.E.M. in my opinion. Chronic Town is a great e.p., but pick up Dead Letter Office instead. It has Chronic Town and other B-Sides. A song is like a chapter in a book, agian, another opinion, but it is hard to fully understand a book from just one or two chapters. anyway.....now I am starting to sound like ann landers.
  12. dash 7 is my favotite track on the album. i love the live version with niles on lap steel and jeff on guitar and vocals. for me, the problem with a.m. is the production. it feels to clean. gotta love Brian Henneman from the bottle rockets on lead guitar for this album. anyway.....different strokes for different folks.
  13. louden wainwright 3- Muse Blues If it wasn't for richard thompson's 14 note piano part, I would offer up Nick Drake's Pink Moon.
  14. Sweet. This is a timeless album.
  15. not that i have seen. your best bet is bt.etree.org or dimeadozen. i have seen 8/4,8/8,8/10, and 8/12 in the past few days. it will be up soon. i forget the days when all there was was the mail and tradeing. it hasn't even been a week yet. we are spoiled by these superfast turnarounds. spongebob p.s. there are no stupid questions.
