i agree...the reunion show i saw in asheville was a great rock show. i never saw them in their heyday...and i too am skeptical of reunions...but i look forward to hearing their new material. spongebob

i've been listening to the new wilco song "lets not get caried away".....i won't assume that i know whattweedy's true meaning is.....however i do wonder if my(our?)afection isattimes somewhat of a wieght. if for all of my good intenions somehow...perhaps...i add some kind of useless tension or importance to somthing that needs to be left alone....and i don't know how to leave it alone. by steping on stage wilco(tweedy) takes a huge risk....that i know how and will draw a line between entertainment and self discovery........such a big risk....and will jeff tweedy have to remove me from the

setlist....pretty please...with a cherry on top?

no harm intended...but your "taper/non-taper" mentality is a limited view(in my opinion). if someone has an idea and they want to share it then fine...or would you rather us "non-tapers" sit on the back of the bus with our kind. spongebob p.s. i really respect the men/women who do tape and allow us who can't travel a chance to hear the band more than we would other wise be able to. let's have a moment of silence for all your hard work...thank you.

in my opinion we live in a world where our leaders in government,media, sports,music...have all become very semantic and complicated(maybe i'm just getting old and out of touch). but i find myself getting more and more disconnected. i find the new material to be real and down to earth in a way that comforts me. that might change(things always do) but for now i really enjoy it. spongebob

its kind of sad the first thing someone finds out about the greatest bands of our time is that on one of its fan websites (which is intended to promote harmony and disscussion) they better not ask any questions for fear of a text lashing or at the very least a shameing. spongebob

i'm having trouble with the tracker. it doesn't recognize my user name or password. perhaps i'm simply daft(and i am..)but i was refered to this thread....and i'm still not getting it. i know people are working hard and it's probably my error....anyway waiting seems to always help in these situations....but if anyone feels like sheding some light? spongebob
