I'm quite impressed with Roloson, didn't think he would hold up this long but he has been stellar. SJ v Van will be a great West Semis. It could go either way, both teams are aching for it.

watching the Canucks v Preds game tonight, eventhought the final was 1-0, the Canucks controlled the game. Preds have great defense and solid goaltending, outshot 30-20, i just don't see the Predators hanging with the Canucks all series. Rinne will hold strong but can't win it on his own. Canucks take Game 2 as well.

ha, i have the same predictions except Caps win in 6 games. Wanted to go Nucks in 5 but Preds play good defense. Look for Kesler to be more of an offensive threat in series and Burrows continues his recent good play.

ha, thanks Winston on the Milwaukee pizza shout-out. We do have good pizza here but of course, overshadowed by nearby Chicago and our stereotype of beer-brats-cheese. Classic Slice in Bayview is amazing as well as Mama DeMarini's in Bayview...not to be confused with Dom & Phil's DeMarini's. Zaffiro's on the East Side seems to win awards all the time. Yes, cracker-thin crust style at Zaffiro's is very very good!!!

Great Hawks-Nucks game. As debated before, I think the Canucks showed a little more dominance in this game. Hopefully the win will put them back in a stronger place mentally. I dont think they were necessarily having doubts in the series, they were playing the defending CUP Champs after all, kudos to the Hawks for a great series. It would have been nice to see them win it in regulation but perhaps the OT winner will spark them up. Good to see Burrows heating up.

III/IV took me a few listens to really, really get into it. At first listen, i ranked it my least favorite, but after indulging on the record, i really think it is a strong collection. Sober rock record for sure. THe only song i cant get into is Icebreaker.

id like to Canucks to win but the Hawks have showed/proved they are the defending Cup Champions. They are inside the Canucks' heads. I was picking the Canucks to win the West but after watching the Wings-Predators series, those teams are playing good defense. Even though Rinne has been spotty, he is still a feared goalie in playoffs. Unlike any goalie on the Flyers.... and yes, agree with Winston about Kesler v Toews. Whichever team loses and those two are sans goal for series, you almost have to point a finger at either skater. unreal that they haven't tallied a score.

It will be hostile in Vancouver on Tuesday but the Hawks have the momentum. Hopefully i can watch it. should be a classic game. Meanwhile, sad that the Ducks lost since I am a Perry fan but the Predators deserved the series win, good defense all around, clutch goals. Flyers vs Sabres - predicted a 7 game series. I think Buffalo's chance to win series was Sunday, they blew it. Miller has been inconsistent. two 1-0 victories, then 4-5 goals in other games. Philly has TERRIBLE goaltending but they are getting by, with Pronger back, game in Philly, momentum from OT win, Philly wins.

i respect the STL fans so i feel bad for them about Wainwright. it is tough going into the season with key players hurt. but that is a part of the game, all teams deal with it. Cards still have enough to compete but losing Wainwright is a big deal.
