1. I bought the Nilsson biography just the other week, have had the box set bookmarked on Amazon.ca for ages as they were the cheapest at the time. They had it as low as $59.99 at one point, should have pre-ordered it then. Now they have it listed for $84.89 and a release date of August 27th. Not sure why the Canadian release date is so much later than the U.S. I have most of Harry's releases on vinyl and have all the 2007 Japanese remasters on CD, probably shouldn't get this new set but the lure of new material, and original mono mixes etc has me hooked. I'm also hoping the new remasters are b
2. About 2/3 of the way into this. Pretty interesting read so far. This book will be of interest to musicians, music fans, and David Byrne/Talking Heads fans.
3. I had a small camera in my pocket. Lucky for me the security was busy with someone else and I got through without a problem. During the show I noticed that security and staff were really clamping down on anyone trying to take photos. I had to be pretty selective when I snapped mine. I was fourth row on the floor which didn't help as there was an aisle right behind me where staff was walking along quite frequently. I got tapped on the shoulder once and given the: "no photos" line. Like you said, at the end when people were crowding the aisles, it was a free-for-all and people were snapping at w

7. A brief synopsis: A couple go undercover to make a documentary about a local cult who's leader claims to be a woman from the future. The pacing and the story drew me in right off the bat and the ending left me to reevaluate what I thought was the truth.

14. Though you're also somewhat right with Parliament, if we're talking Parliament's 1970 record "Osmium." That one is pretty much a Funkadelic record in everything but name. It's also probably the most eclectic release in the Parliament/Funkadelic oeuvre (can't think of another release of theirs that has funk, country, rock and psych all on one record.) I could picture Mavis doing this one, especially back in the day with the Staple Singers:
